Restoration To God’s Favor

by Hazel Straub

Restoration – the return of something or someone to a former position, place or condition. God is in the process of returning us to our former condition before we sinned and had generations of the consequences of being twisted with sin. His son, Jesus, paid the price so each person from every tribe and language could be returned, renovated, renewed to the former condition of reflecting the glory of God, in fellowship and close relationship with him. It is a marvel that our Creator would love us so much that he would redeem us from our rebellion and make us new again, enjoying a close relationship with him.

2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (Amplified Bible)
“But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.”

A Blessing Or A Curse Is Set Before You

by Hazel Straub

Deuteronomy 11:26-28 (NKJV)
“Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.”

If you are following the Lord, blessing is your portion. If you follow and worship other gods, you are under a curse. It is time to come into alignment with what God is saying. We choose either the blessing or the curse. It is time to proclaim, “I am a new creation and washed in the blood of Jesus, who died to bless me! I choose blessing because the Lord has and is blessing me.” Decree and agree with God that you are blessed!

God’s Servant-Jesus Restores You

by Hazel Straub

Isaiah 42:1-4 (Tanakh Translation)
“This is My servant, whom I uphold,
My chosen one, in whom I delight.
I have put My spirit upon him,
He shall teach the true way to the nations.
He shall not cry out or shout aloud,
Or make his voice heard in the streets.
He shall not break even a bruised reed,
Or snuff out even a dim wick.
He shall bring forth the true way,
He shall not grow dim or be bruised
Till he has established the true way on earth;
And the coastlands shall await his teaching.”

Jesus, God’s Son is the servant bathed with God’s Spirit. His gentleness will not break the deeply bruised and hurt or run over the small and insignificant. He quietly goes about his work to set things right, on earth. He does not get tired nor does he quit, until he finishes his work. Even the distant places are expectant to hear his teaching. He cares and tenderly restores with the truth.

Prayer Brings Radiance And Freedom

by Hazel Straub

God is good and not only hears us but also answers our cries to him. As we spend time in his presence, we get freedom from many things that have had us bound. Freedom from those things that have vexed us and with which we struggled, comes by focusing on him. Our face radiates joy because we are looking at God and resting in him. We do not worry but seek him/ It is time to become desperate for God  alone. Then we will see him answer and deliver us. The angel of the Lord protects and encompasses those who honor and reverence God. He rewards those who seek him with all their hearts.

Psalm 34:4-7 (NLT)
“I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.
He freed me from all my fears.
Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
he saved me from all my troubles.
For the angel of the Lord is a guard;
he surrounds and defends all who fear him.”

Be Strong Because God Is With You

by Hazel Straub

Sometimes we focus on the wrong thing. We are in a new season that has new challenges. If we give our attention to the problems, we miss what is most important. God is with us and will not forsake or leave us. With him, we can conquer the giants that would like to intimidate us and rob us of our inheritance. It does not matter how big the problem seems because God goes before us and gives us the victory. He assures us that we will never have to face our enemy alone. God is with us and he tells us to be courageous and strong. The battle is not ours but the Lords. When we rely and trust in God, worry, fear and intimidation flee. God is our vision and provision.

Deuteronomy 31:6-8 (The Message)
“Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.”

Then Moses summoned Joshua. He said to him with all Israel watching, “Be strong. Take courage. You will enter the land with this people, this land that God promised their ancestors that he’d give them. You will make them the proud possessors of it. God is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t worry.”

The Wonder Working Power Of Yeshua’s Blood

by Hazel Straub

There is no substance more powerful than the blood of Yeshua (salvation), God’s Son. His blood washes and purges the most evil of sinners, when we call to God for mercy and turn from our sin. His blood redeems us from the curse of sin and brings us out of the pit of despair. The blood speaks louder than past rebellion, as we turn back to God. The blood covers and washes away all of our shame. The cleansing power gives us a new name.  The blood of Jesus cries for mercy and pardon, for a life of disobedience. The blood speaks and says, Forgiven and in Right Standing With God.

The blood of Yeshua flowed from his head, so our mind would be restored and renewed. The blood flowed from his hands so that all sin committed with our hands, forgiven. His blood flowed from his feet so that where our feet walked defying God,  forgiven, as we walk in a new direction of humility towards God. The blood of Yeshua flowed out of his side and from his heart, so our heart that is deceitfully wicked would replaced with a new heart.

There is nothing like the power of the blood of Yeshua to cleanse and  transform lives that had been under the curse of death, bringing new life.  Apply the blood daily for vibrant life.

1 John 1:7-10 (Aramaic Bible)
“But if we walk in The Light as he is in The Light, we have communion with each other and the blood of Yeshua his Son purges us from all of our sins. And if we shall say we do not have sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and he will purge us from all our evil. And if we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not with us.”

Rest In The Presence Of Daddy God

by Hazel Straub

My Dearest Child,

Know I am here for you. Nothing that you experience has taken me by surprise. Everything is sifted through my fingers of love. Come and rest in me. Enjoy my presence. It is my delight, when you spend time with me, listening and enjoying me. You are my child and I am never too busy for you. Come and sit with me. Let my presence refresh you. There  is no need for you to talk but just rest in me, receiving what I want to give you.

Love you more than you can imagine,

Undeserved Blessings Produce Thankfulness

by Hazel Straub

It is easy to complain or have negative thoughts, as it comes naturally. One has to take every loose thought, emotion and impulse captive, with a life shaped by the Anointed One. It is a conscious decision to move into spiritual maturity and to think on the good.

When we focus on God, his son Jesus the Messiah and God’s Spirit, praise and worship flow out of us. We then develop a thankful heart. The love, mercy and undeserved blessings of God, in each of our lives, is truly amazing. When we think on him, negativity flees.

Psalm 19:14 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English)
“Let the words of my mouth be for your pleasure, and the meditation of my heart before you, Lord Jehovah, my helper and my Savior.”

Holy Spirit Led Transformation Of You

by Hazel Straub

This is a new season. The challenge for you is to walk in the new, leaving the old. It is time to discard the old familiar garments of the sinful nature, with its stinking mental and emotional garbage, sinful self-interest and doing what is self-pleasing. Your desires need to come from God’s Spirit, as you wear the new clothes.

Live God’s way and he gives you good fruit that transforms your life. He gives us compassion for others in our hearts, bubbling joy, great affection for others and wholeness. When we are in Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and having mindless responses, we kill, nailing them to his cross. Wear your new outlook and clothes! Holy Spirit leads and we follow into life transformation.

Galatians 5:22-26 (NLT)
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.”
