You Are The Light Of The World

by Hazel Straub

When there is light, the darkness cannot overcome it. Light always conquers the dark. Light originates with Daddy God and as we shine with his light, he gets the glory. No matter how dark the world, darkness cannot conquer the light. Darkness desires to overtake and extinguish the light. But it will never happen, when your foundation is God, through Jesus the Messiah and you radiate your glory light.

No matter the evil, it flees from the light. You are the light of the world. Let your light shine and change the world. Do not curse the darkness but shine dispelling the darkness!

Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV)
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Father Deliver Me

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, “Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:” (Hebrews 3:7, 8 KJV)

Father, deliver me from hard heartedness, so I can hear your voice louder than my voice of reason…

God’s Questions For The New Season

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

In this new season, God says, “What are you willing to give up for Me just because you love Me?”
“What is blocking or hindering you from Me?”
“Are you ready to come to the end of yourself and start anew?”

God Is Our Strength And Refuge

by Hazel Straub

It is easy to become affected by the circumstances of life. If things are hectic and time is short, we can get stressed and agitated. Sometimes we listen to fear and anxiety calling out to us and that voice becomes louder than the voice of the Holy Spirit. God calls us to rest in him and submit to him. He alone grants victory over the enemy in our lives. When we take refuge in God, his peace surrounds us. We do not have to  allow anxiety to overtake us and dwell in our emotions, will, or personality. God is in control and protects us during the storms that rage about us, when we take refuge in him. We can relax and rest knowing that God surrounds us and quiets us with his love and mercy. He calls us to rest and relax and allow him to do the work. It is his responsibility not ours. Pour out your heart to him and rest. God is our refuge and strength.

Psalm 62:5-8 (Amplified)
“My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him. He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved. With God rests my salvation and my glory; He is my Rock of unyielding strength and impenetrable hardness, and my refuge is in God! Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!”

Not Orphans But Beloved Children

by Hazel Straub

Jesus said he would never abandon us and that we are not orphans. Many times we feel and act like orphans, who try to earn love and approval by performing and doing things for God. We react in fear like servants not as sons. We live life without realizing that we have a home, where we can enjoy and be secure in Daddy God’s embrace and unconditional love.  God created us in his image, as his family. Jesus came to us to restore our relationship. He is the way, the truth and the life and the only way to Daddy God. His love is without measure.

Jesus is God’s beloved son. We are in Jesus and are also beloved. Our relationship with Daddy God is like our elder brother’s Jesus relationship: 1. Only do what Daddy says and does. 2. Live and enjoy life and his love, as Daddy God’s child.

Daddy God is well pleased with you. You are his child and he loves you. Rest secure in knowing his love. His blessing and favor rests on you. He gives you your identity through Christ Jesus.

John 14:18-20 (Amplified)
“I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you. Just a little while now, and the world will not see Me any more, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also. At that time [when that day comes] you will know [for yourselves] that I am in My Father, and you [are] in Me, and I [am] in you.”

Singing Thanks And Praise To The Lord

by Hazel Straub

To you O Lord do I lift my thanks and praise
To sing to your glorious name voice raised
Proclaiming your steadfast love at daybreak
Your faithful presence in the night never shaken

You shelter and protect from all my foes
You are my strength and refuge taking my woes
You draw me close in acceptance and great love
My rock, fortress, defender yet gentle as a dove

Never Give Up And Quit The God Walk

by Hazel Straub

There are times when we lose our focus and become discouraged, tired of doing good. God wants to encourage, refresh and bless you. It is important not to quit or allow fatigue to overtake you, as you plant where God leads. You will reap a harvest of blessing, in season. Do not let the waiting for the harvest discourage you. Keep allowing God’s Spirit to work in you and rest in his provision of refreshment on the journey.

Galatians 6:7-10 (The Message)
“Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”
