Fix Your Eyes On Jesus

imagesby Hazel Straub

When you are going through the storm, keep your focus firmly fixed on Jesus. He leads and guides you successfully, through the most narrow and dark places. Problems, however, arise when we take our eyes off him and worry about our circumstances. We begin to think about the “what ifs” and magnify the challenges.

Our focus becomes the problem and not the Problem Solver. The problem gets our time, thoughts, on which we meditate and consumes our hearts, becoming our idol. It takes first place in our lives and becomes what we worship, instead of trusting Yahweh. Anything that takes the focus off Jesus is an idol.

Change your focus and praise and worship Jesus. Look up! Stop worrying and striving, instead rest in his strength and listen to what he is speaking to you. Then you will successfully come through the challenging season.

I love you, Yahweh, my strength. Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. (Psalm 18:1-2 WEB)

Rest In The Lord’s Restoration

imagesby Apostle Gabriel Cross

There is a “rest” in the word “restore” for you. It is not your responsiblity to restore you, it’s the Lord our Restorer’s job. Rest in his restoration.

“He causes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters and quiet streams. He restores your soul, (failing health, mind, will, emotions) he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” ( Psalm 23:2-3)

“For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, declares the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.” (Jeremiah 30:17)

Abba, I Receive Your Love

imagesby Hazel Straub

Abba Father, I receive all that you have for me
I receive all your mighty love that helps me see
The lies I once believed now exposed and renounced
I receive all the truth of your love, as its announced

The bounty of your wondrous love I now receive
No longer will the tricks of the enemy deceive
Abba’s love expressed through his Son’s blood
I receive all of your love flowing to me, as a flood

I receive all your acceptance, mercy and grace
Your kindness wipes away my shame and disgrace
Washing and cleansing me with your divine love
I receive your acceptance and help from above

I receive all your merciful, unmerited love for me
I receive incredible marvelous love that sets free
The past released and no longer affecting my today
Here’s my heart, I receive unconditional love always

Rest In Yahweh’s Love

Unknownby Hazel Straub

Rest under the shelter of the wings of Yahweh. He calls you his dearly beloved and loves you more than you know. It is with delight that he sings joyous songs over you. Rest and enjoy his love.

The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17 AMP)

Blockages To Your Blessings

Unknownby Hazel Straub

What is blocking you from receiving all that Jesus purchased for you with his suffering, death on the cross and resurrection? Is it fear and doubt that the price for freedom was enough? Do you think that he doesn’t heal, care about you or what bothers you? Trusting more in the familiar and not the Great Physician?

The love of Daddy God for you is beyond your imagination. He ia no respecter of people and what he has done for one, he will do for all. Press in to him through Jesus and cry out to him. Believe and trust he hears, answers and cares about every detail in your life.  Desperate faith does not allow any obstacle to keep them from obtaining their blessings. The blockages will disappear and your blessings will overflow you!

And he took all of our sins and lifted them in his body to the cross, for as we are dead to sin, we shall live in his righteousness, for by his scars you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24 ABPE)

The Lord Is Our Destiny Mender

imagesby Apostle Gabriel Cross

The Lord has massaged our spiritual muscles, where we have battled. He has released all the tension, all the stress and all the frustration. He has released us from worrying and focusing on the details. I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, “Focus on the results, not the details.” The Lord says, “No more arriving to details but you are going to arrive to the results. You are going to arrive to your destiny. You are going to reside to that expected end.”

The Lord gave me an example of how many, many times we will say, “God give us a word or a desire.” As we pursue that desire, goal, dream, vision or whatever the Lord has given or spoken to us, we start thinking. “I need this, I need money for that. How will I do that?”

God says, “I am wiping and massaging away from you the focus on the details. No more focus on the details. You stay focused on the results, the expected end, the dream, the goal that I have placed within you. Keep your eyes on the prize, the mark, the high calling of Christ Jesus. Do not be religious because I have given you these goals. I have given you these dreams. It is okay for you to be focusing on what I gave you because it is me.”

The Lord reminded me that we need to let go of some religious clichés. There is one we have overplayed and overrated: “It is not about you, it is not about us.” But the Lord said, “Jesus died for you.” Jesus died for who? He died for us. This means you are of great importance and special to the Father. Your concerns are the Father’s concerns. The Lord is serious about your destiny. The Lord is serious about our destiny! He is the destiny mender.

Choose Life Or Death Today!

imagesby Hazel Straub

The people, events and circumstances about which you are passionate, talk and think on, grows, taking on a life of its own. When you think on the negative and complain, it takes over you life. Negativity spoils your present, your ability to enjoy life and brings death to your spirit and curses. In contrast, when you become passionate, talk and think about the goodness of Yahweh, his Word, abundant life and blessings overflow and overtake you.Choose what you allow in your live with your thought life and what you express with your mouth.

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! (Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT)

Live Life Abundantly

imagesby Hazel Straub

Today, no longer let the past define you. Walk away and close the door to where you used to merely exist. Keep your focus on Jesus, who desires to show you many new treasures. Live the abundant life, following the Lord on the adventure he has for you. Get his vision for the things he wants to open for you. No more hesitation! Go!

Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”  And they left their nets at once and followed him. (Matthew 4:19-20 NLT)
