The Secret To Savoring Life

How many times have you substituted food or some fleeting pleasure and felt empty in your heart, instead of savoring God’s Word? True life and satisfaction comes from cherishing every Word that comes from God. Open your Bible, read and apply it to find nourishment and abundant life, for your soul.

He (Jesus) answered, “The Scriptures say: Bread alone will not satisfy, but true life is found in every word, which constantly goes forth from God’s mouth.” (Matthew 4:4 NLT)

God Our Shelter And Refuge!

There was an earthquake on Thursday in Alaska that caused damage to the roads, some buildings, utilities but praise God, no lives lost. The damage was about 350 miles from us. Here in Interior Alaska, although an earthquake shook buildings,  there was no damage. God is our shelter and protection and he is good!

If you make the Lord your refuge,
    if you make the Most High your shelter,
no evil will conquer you;
    no plague will come near your home.
For he will order his angels
    to protect you wherever you go.
They will hold you up with their hands
    so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.  (Psalm 91:9-12 NLT)

Trust And Please God For a Good Ending

Who do you live to please? God or man? When we please the Lord God, we trust him and meditate on his promises. We delight in him and enjoy his faithfulness. He will always direct us in the right direction and he will have everything end well, when we trust him, with our lives.

Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes.
Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure,
feasting on his faithfulness.
Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life,
and he will provide for you what you desire the most.
Give God the right to direct your life,
and as you trust him along the way
you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly! (Psalm 37:3-5 TPT)

Pursue God With Passion And Joy

Pursue God with passion and joy. Not relying on a superficial relationship with him but digging treasures out of the Word of God and pursuing his presence. You will receive riches of peace, health, and have your deepest needs met, as you deepen your relationship with Daddy God.

The steps of the God-pursuing ones
follow firmly in the footsteps of the Lord,
and God delights in every step they take to follow him.
If they stumble badly they will still survive,
for the Lord lifts them up with his hands. (Psalm 37:23-24 TPT)

Your Thought Life Produces A Harvest

What you think on become seeds for a harvest in your life. If you see yourself, as an overcomer, achieving your dreams, it will happen. Or if you think negatively, you will curse the darkness and yourself. What comes out of your mouth, either good or evil, begins with what you think on. Your powerful mouth brings life or death from what you speak.

Every tree will be revealed by the quality of fruit that it produces. Figs or grapes will never be picked off thorn trees. People are known in this same way. Out of the virtue stored in their hearts, good and upright people will produce good fruit. But out of the evil hidden in their hearts, evil ones will produce what is evil. For the overflow of what has been stored in your heart will be seen by your fruit and will be heard in your words. (Luke 6:44-45 TPT)

Letter To Beloved, My Dearest Child

Beloved, My Dearest Child,

You are my delight, created in my image. I knew you and called you by name, long before your conception, in your mother’s womb. My light shines in you, for I am the Father of lights. You are so precious to me that I paid the greatest price, to redeem you from your sin, with the blood of my son, Jesus.

My child, you are precious and your identity is found in me. My love, for you, will never fail. Nothing you do whether good or bad will ever stop me from loving you. Rest secure in my love and know that nothing can separate you, my precious one, from it. My love will never, no never stop for you. My desire for you is good and not evil and I watch over you, my cherished one. I carry you close to my heart and sing and dance with delight for you.

Take Off The Limitations!

Take the limitations off! Let go and leave fear, doubt, and unbelief, in God. Remove the distractions of the cares and burdens. Leave your striving. Grab ahold of Jesus, who opens our eyes and ears, to truth and abundant life!

Let Your Light Shine!

Evil always flees from the light. Believers in Jesus, are the light of the world. Shine with God’s light and change the world. Do not curse the darkness but dispel the darkness, by letting your light be seen.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16 TPT)

Prayers To Father God Are Not Wasted!

No prayer to Father God, who created you, is ever wasted. He hears and answers us. There are times when the answer is on the way, before we even call out to him. Our Father is so loving  and meets our needs!

I will answer them before they even call to me.
    While they are still talking about their needs,
    I will go ahead and answer their prayers! (Isaiah 65:24 NLT)
