Focus On Father God And Gain Peace

God gives us his peace, as we focus our thoughts on him. We trust, rely and put our faith in the Lord, who is our Rock and Refuge. No matter how busy you may get, turn your focus  to Father God, with his love, life and light, mercy, and grace for us.

You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Trust in the Lord always,
for the Lord God is the eternal Rock. (Isaiah 26:3-4 NLT)

Impossible? Not For God!

Does your situation seem impossible? Retreat is not possible due to the enemy pursuing you and the obstacle in front of you looks impossible. Glory to God! What is impossible for man is easy for God. Total dependency on God brings breakthrough.

Often we cry out to God, when things go bad for us but depend on ourselves when things go well. The children of Israel had Pharoah and his army pursuing them and the Red Sea in front of them. Impossible? God had a plan and they went over on dry ground and then saw their enemy destroyed. God is the same today as yesterday and does not change. Look for a miraculous breakthrough, over the things that have defeated you in the past. Know that God delights in last-minute deliverance, from your enemy!

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” (Matthew 19:26 NLT)

Surrender And Live To Delight God!

The mercy of God calls for our complete surrender to him. No longer pleasing ourselves or others but living to delight the heart of God. Believers in Jesus, have the Holy Spirit living inside of them. Holy Spirit will transform how we think and will help us understand the Bible, as we read and meditate on it. Surrendering our thoughts for God’s thoughts, changes our response to our circumstances and empowers us to really live and not merely existing. Our focus turns to God not on our problems. God pleasing changes everything about us, in the best way!

Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. (Romans 12:1-2 TPT)

Praises–My Love Gift To God

God hears us, when we cry out to him and answers. He shelters us and keeps us safe in his presence. His unending and unfailing love gives us strength to walk in grace and truth, before him. Our praises to God are love gifts to him!

I will live enthroned with you forever!
Guard me, God, with your unending, unfailing love.
Let me live my days walking in grace and truth before you.
And my praises will fill the heavens forever,
fulfilling my vow to make every day a love gift to you! (Psalm 61:7-8 TPT)

God Is Love

God loved us first and poured his love on us. God is love and he shows us how to love one another. Love is powerful and when we love one another, fear leaves and faith in God rises up within us. Love casts down all barriers and shows God and his power to love and reconcile with one another.

Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences an intimate knowledge of him. The one who doesn’t love has yet to know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:7-8 TPT)

Singing Children Shut The Enemy’s Mouth!

Jesus said unless his followers became like little children, they would not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever takes the lowly place of a child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:2-4) God uses the songs of babies and the choruses of singing children to shut the mouth of Satan. When we become humble and childlike in our praise and worship of God, the enemy of our souls, flees.

Powerful humble praise causes the enemy’s mouth to shut!

Lord, your name is so great and powerful!
People everywhere see your splendor.
Your glorious majesty streams from the heavens,
filling the earth with the fame of your name!
You have built a stronghold by the songs of babies.
Strength rises up with the chorus of singing children.
This kind of praise has the power to shut Satan’s mouth.
Childlike worship will silence
the madness of those who oppose you. (Psalm 8:1-2 TPT)

God’s Written Word Equips Us

The Word of God, also known as the Bible or Scripture is God breathed and instructs and corrects us. It trains us to have faith in God through Jesus the Messiah, growing and maturing in right living and godliness. This prepares us to fulfill God’s assignments that he gives to us.

Every Scripture has been written by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 TPT)

The Key To A Peaceful Day!

Saturate yourself in prayer to Father God throughout the day. Let thankfulness and faith fill your requests. As a result, you will have wonderful peace and be able to handle the day’s stress. The answers will come through Jesus. Prayer and praise will keep your focus on God and his wonderful care and love for you.

Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. (Philippians 4:6-8 TPT)
