The most effective weapon for spiritual warfare is love. When we love and do not retaliate, the enemy of our souls, leaves in defeat. He works through fear and does not understand love. The Spirit of God resides inside of us and he is love. When we purposely show his love to others, even though they may not deserve it, the atmosphere changes. God loves and forgives us, so we can overcome by loving others, no matter how they behave. Powerful warfare!
Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8 NLT)

Your post brings just the right perspective at the right time, sister Hazel.
I’ve been mulling over perceived injustices (in my mind) that others committed against me. Some of these happened years ago! I recognized this as spiritual warfare, and told the devil to leave me alone I’m Jesus name, but did not remember the ultimate spiritual weapon to use. No I know! God’s love is stronger than any evil power. Thank you for sharing this! God Bless!

David, glad this post spoke to you. God conquered with love. At one time, I worked with people who wanted to kill me and others. There were many times I did not do so well, in this warfare. I sought the Lord and learned I had to come in the opposite spirit. The enemy of our soul works by fear and intimidation. I learned to change the atmosphere by silently sending love their way. No longer was fear in control but the love of God. Love always triumphs!
