Blessing All Readers

by Hazel Straub

Today, I speak this blessing over all the readers and friends, of this post:

May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope. (Romans 5:13 AMP)

  1. The believing and hope of Rom15:13 have its roots in Rom4:24 and Rom10:9 of believing in the heart Jesus was raised from the dead, and the hope is the hope of our resurrection that does not put shame on Rom5:5.

This faith (believing) and hope, while they can be framed towards earthly needs and wants, are more pertinent for the eternal hope and faith in this hope of God’s promises of the Lord Jesus’ return and our resurrection.
