Heart

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Heart.

“The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out. But I, God, search the heart and examine the mind. I get to the heart of the human. I get to the root of things. I treat them as they really are, not as they pretend to be.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10 MSG)

Lord, shine the light of your truth in my heart. Search my heart and purify it. Examine my mind and renew it by your Spirit. Change my heart for You. Heart.

  2. I don’t recall reading the MSG translation of Jer. Love how it says “get to the root of the matter.” He does it better than therapy or any other self-help technique, doesn’t He? Beautiful!

The world situation today with mostly no sincere humanity care, or support, it’s all about the dollar, I tell you man need to get his heart and mind fixed on the Word of God to save more souls before Jesus returns.

  7. I had not seen this verse in Jeremiah, “thanks for pinning it” it is a strong implication of fallen man heart. Only believing in Jesus can fix it, the medicine is the Bible.
