Prayer For Heart Cleansing

by Hazel Straub

Father in Heaven, thank you for your love and your truth found in your Word.

Praise your name that:

The rarest treasures of life are found in your truth.
That’s why I prize God’s word like others prize the finest gold.
Nothing brings the soul such sweetness
as seeking his living words.
For they warn us, his servants,
and keep us from following the wicked way,
giving a lifetime guarantee:
great success to every obedient soul!
Without this revelation-light,
how would I ever detect the waywardness of my heart?

Lord, forgive my hidden flaws whenever you find them.
Keep cleansing me, God,
and keep me from my secret, selfish sins;
may they never rule over me!
For only then will I be free from fault
and remain innocent of rebellion.

So may the words of my mouth, my meditation-thoughts,
and every movement of my heart be always pure and pleasing,
acceptable before your eyes,
my only Redeemer, my Protector-God. (Psalm 19:10-14 TPT)

Amen!

Oh dearest Hazel. How beautifully written that is. I knew it was Psalm 19 at one point because the Lord allowed me to remember that as our church was saying it every Saturday to learn it. By His grace! Thank you for writing this out. I prayed every word. We are foolish to think that we have nothing to apologize for, or to be prayerfully careful in out walks, in souls, in our own hearts. It’s so wicked, Who can know it?? God… and only God.
I know you are award free but I still want you to know how grateful I am when God uses you to lift my weary soul. I have nominated you for the Fix Her Crown Award.
Please don’t feel obligated to participate.
I just want to recognize your uplifting encouragements.
May the Lord bless you! He loves you!

Gail, thank you for your kind words. Repentance is something we all need to do frequently, especially myself! It helps us line up with the Word of God! Our hearts are prone to wander and are wicked.

Thank you for the nomination for the Fix Your Crown Award. However, we are award free.

Gail may the Lord and his blessings pursue and overtake you. You are beloved and much loved by Daddy God!

A son of a co worker did a live video yesterday. He was doing a heart cleaning of things he felt hurt people. He is the type of person who helps build people. Yet he knew his own thots and actions. I am in the opposite process of creating plans with Gods help.

it is really important to have a clean heart in our daily living, because everything we does is our worship to our God.
