It is empty! How many times have you looked at your natural provision and exclaimed that your cupboard, your stash of money, intellect, talents, appearance, and or resources, et cetera, were empty? You think, “How am I going to make it because I do not have this or that? How will I survive because I made this or that mistake in the past?”
God wants you to know that the tomb is empty. All that remained there was the prayer shawl that had wrapped the dead body of Jesus, Son of God. There was no need to make a memorial, at the tomb, because he was not dead.
We need to seek the person, the resurrected LORD JESUS, who is our PROVISION. He wants us, to get his VISION. It has nothing to do with the dead things, of which we have made a memorial, such as what we accomplished or did not do in the past. God’s vision and provision are not dependent on how much we have in savings, our education, personality, natural abilities, housing, good or bad looks, luxuries, or what we may or not have. Nor is his provision, dependent upon what disasters we experience, such as earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, inflation, war, death, divorce, poor health, family crisis, or homelessness.
Our focus needs to change, to seek the LIVING ONE, who daily provides all that we need. It is he, who SUSTAINS and REMAINS, with us in our present circumstances. It is he, who walks and talks with us. Do NOT look in the tomb, or make a memorial to live there. Leave the dead things in the past. Remember, to listen to his voice, walk with his presence, and know that in him is all the provision you need to succeed, in LIVING life!
“Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
The beast of the field will honor Me,
The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I give waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My people, My chosen.
This people I have formed for Myself;
They shall declare My praise. (Isaiah 43:18-21 NKJV)
