Father, you are my passion not people, places, or things nor what I do but Father, you are my passion, my sole desire…

Clean your heart and your words will be better. Unclean your heart and your words will be bitter. Create in me a clean heart and renew me in me a steadfast spirit so I can purely worship You.

People usually don’t know what is in someone’s heart, until that someone opens their mouth revealing it. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. We need the abundance of God’s love, in our hearts so we can reveal to the world, the love of the Father.

Luke 12:33-34 (MSG)
“Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can’t go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bank robbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is,is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.”
Man’s heart is God’s greatest treasure, while he patiently waits for His heart to become man’s greatest treasure…

God is calling us to a Lifestyle of Fasting. Depend on God not yourself.
Sacrifice your flesh. Stop wavering; live a lifestyle of 100% God.
Rest in me and don’t lean on your own understanding. Stop trying to always figure things out. Be prompt to obey me. You are my sheep and come at my call. Lay aside the “I have always done it this way.” Rest in me, not in your own prowess and not in the routine. I am calling you to ask me what to do and to do it.
This is a time of consecration and new dedication to me. It’s time to get rid of the old and to let me clothe you in my new garments. A time to humble yourself before me. To seek me and make me first in everything you do. Dedicate the first hour upon awakening to me. Listen and let me direct your day. Fast from trying to figure out everything. Leave your intellect. Be quick to obey and to listen to me. I am calling you into closer bonds of love with me.
Rest and quit striving. Come to me. Leave the flesh behind. No sweets, leave fluff behind. Quit doing it on your own. Lean into me and depend on me, not yourself. Fast from negativity. Fast from complaining. Fast from depending only on yourself and your own resources. Run to me, ask me first. Lean into me. Depend on me. Consult me first. First, in all you do. Listen and obey. I’m calling you closer.

Character is the only gift that can’t be given, it must be grown and developed over time. Many have the Gifting to go here and there, temporarily but few have the character to go along with the gift to keep them here and there, permanently.

You have some Leaping to Do! If you’re being hated on, destructively criticized, ostracized, or falsely accused, for righteousness, LEAP FOR JOY!
Luke 6:22-23 (KJV)
“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.”
Luke 6:22-23 (MSG)
“Count yourself blessed every time someone cuts you down or throws you out, every time someone smears or blackens your name to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and that that person is uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens-skip like a lamb, if you like!-for even though they don’t like it, I do . . . and all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company; my preachers and witnesses have always been treated like this.”

Worship is only a verb, when our heart is in it. Regardless, of what the world says or how the enemy is trying to paint your picture remind him, “I believe in something More!” God is my more than enough. He is more than the whole world against me. Who can be against me, when I know God is for me?
Lord, your worship is in my heart because my heart is in You.
