We Are God’s Mouthpiece

Do you ever wonder, why one might forget what they said to someone, they had ministered to earlier in the day or the week? It doesn’t happen all the time but occasionally it does. It’s so we don’t take the glory for something that was revelational, from God. For example: “Well I said” or “I told them” or “Don’t say, I told you so.” God speaks through his people a lot. It wouldn’t be right for us to take the glory or boast in something we said that actually came straight from God. This helps build character, especially in humility. It kills the “I” in pride. We are God’s mouthpiece.
Lord, let the words of our mouth and meditation of our heart be acceptable to you.

Prayer For Closer Intimacy With God

Father, I love you and I’m so sorry for being so distant. It pains me, handicaps me, and saddens me when I’m out of touch with You. My lover, my confidant, my more than a friend. I’m so elated that You’ve broken through the partitions, of my ways and the walls of my heart. I don’t desire to revisit that distant place anymore. Nothing can separate me from YOUR LOVE. Nothing.

It’s Resignation Time

It’s Resignation Time! It is so easy to take matters into our own hands; a temptation to try to change someone; stressed because of trying to keep something or someone, you need to release to God.
Today, I resign from the things that only God is supposed to do. I retire from trying to be the “Savior Syndrome,” with people. It’s not my responsibility but God’s.
Lord, here’s my resignation, effective immediately and perpetually.

End The Religious Routine

No more yesterday’s manna, riding off fumes and assume. Charge and rush into my presence. Bombard the heavens, lay down with me in my Glory, seek my heart. When you seek my heart, you will see and obtain my heart. Only when you seek my heart.
I am not as concerned or dealing with what you do as much as the heart of why you do it. Kill, abort, end the religious routine.
