Embrace The New!

The season in which we find ourselves is one of change. No longer business as usual, treading well-worn paths and living in the status quo. Instead we experience new challenges in new unfamiliar settings with new relationships. We are going over to the other side of the mountain to live, in an unfamiliar setting, where God is in control not us.

God tells us to let the past go and not to hang on to old victories, ways of thinking, grudges, and habits. He is doing something new and it requires letting go of toxic thought patterns, unforgiveness, regrets and living the familiar comfortable way. No longer coping as a survivor, but thriving in abundant life. When you let it all go, there is room for new relationships, new life in unfamiliar places and blessings you could not imagine. It is time for new beginnings, seeing new rivers flowing in the former desert and exploring new paths you would not have considered earlier.

Embrace the new and leave the past in the past!

Forget what happened in the past,
and do not dwell on events from long ago.
I am going to do something new.
It is already happening. Don’t you recognize it?
I will clear a way in the desert.
I will make rivers on dry land. (Isaiah 43:18-19 NOG)

Love Of God

The love of God has no limits. He gave his precious son, Jesus, so we might live. This sacrificial love changes us from the inside out. Because of this love, we love one another.

My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God. Trust In God Your Provider

God says: “Trust me not your resources, job, abilities, reasoning or heritage. Nothing is too difficult for me. Did I not sustain the Israelites for 40 years in the wilderness? They had bread from heaven to eat and supernatural water. Their clothes and shoes did not wear out. I am the same yesterday, today and forever. I am your provision and there is no lack, when I am your source.”

And now I have it all—and keep getting more! The gifts you sent with Epaphroditus were more than enough, like a sweet-smelling sacrifice roasting on the altar, filling the air with fragrance, pleasing God no end. You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Yahweh, have mercy! Mercy!

Keys To Prosperity And Health

When your heart fills with childlike trust in God, there is no need to analyze and map the road. Fully depend on God, and not on your brilliance and intellect.

Honor God with your best. Show an attitude of gratitude and listen to his voice. Receive his correction and discipline and don’t despise it. Know he delights in you, his dear child and he causes you to prosper.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,

God Our Shepherd

God is our shepherd and has promised that we will not lack. He guides and leads us into good pasture and to still water. There are times when he asks us to take a step of faith and move from our old pasture, following him into the unfamiliar. We have to trust him for excellent provision, as we leave the familiar. We must leave procrastination and loving doing things our way.

Many times we miss out on our blessings because we refuse to leave the familiar and follow his voice into unknown territory. When we listen and follow his voice, abundant provision above what we could imagine is ours. His presence goes with us and we can handle difficulty with ease, resting in his love. We leave the past behind us and have room to receive the precious gifts he has for us today.

Irritants Become Pearls

When others rub you the wrong way, God uses them as sandpaper to refine you and smooth your rough edges. Often the thing that irritates the most, show things inside of you. Thank God for irritants, as they are the catalyst for becoming more like Christ.

Mollusks produce pearls from sand and other irritants that get trapped inside their shell.  The pearl is highly prized and valuable. Those things that are difficult, often turn into things of great beauty. Rejoice!
