Laughter Is Good Medicine

Something happens when we enjoy a big belly laugh. Laughter is good medicine. Jesus gives us freedom from disappointment, bitterness and sadness. He restores us, as we hope and rejoice in him.

Abundant life and laughter is yours in Jesus. Rejoice!

A joyful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (Proverbs 17:22 ESV)

Holy Spirit Prays For Us

Prayer does not always have expression in words. Many times we do not know what to pray but feel burdened and let out a sigh or groan. Other times we feel another’s pain and our tears flow in compassion. All of this is intercession and Holy Spirit who lives inside of us, prays for us knowing exactly what we need. He loves us and works out everything for our good.

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. (Romans 8:26-28 MSG)

Perfect Love

Afresh Start Prayer

Today I dedicate myself to you, Lord God. I turn from doing things my way and submit and surrender to your will. Cleanse my heart. Thank you for afresh start, where my life honors and pleases you, in all I think, say and do.

Renew a right spirit within me and lead me in your path. Ears to listen to your voice and eyes to gaze on your face. Here’s my heart Lord, it is all yours. I submit and will be quick to follow your directions and correction.I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live by the flesh but by Christ who lives in me.

Thank you for your incredible love. Praise your name for restoration, joy and the cleansing blood of Jesus!

Prayer: Lord Change My Heart

“The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful,
a puzzle that no one can figure out.
But I, God, search the heart
and examine the mind.
I get to the heart of the human.
I get to the root of things.
I treat them as they really are,
not as they pretend to be.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10 MSG)

Lord, explore, examine and shine your light on my inmost thoughts, my motivations, meditations, desires, emotions, reflections, morality, and the plans of my heart. Examine my mind and renew a right spirit in me.  Remove my stony, stubborn heart and give me a changed tender, responsive heart. A heart change!
