Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34 KJV)
America celebrates her 250th birthday on July 4, 2026. Today, on the National Mall, in Washington DC, a rededication of our nation, to God is happening, with Scripture reading, testimony, prayer, and worship, as Americans come to rededicate our country as One Nation to God. The emphasis is to turn back to God, remember with thanksgiving how he has preserved the nation for 250 years, with his guidance and presence. The people gather to remember the miracles that made the USA, through God;s help and his healing in our lives and land. It is a time of new birth of faith and freedom, as we humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways and rededicate ourselves, as a nation, to God.
People from all of the fifty states, along with political leaders are coming together to rededicate themselves and the nation to God, with a heart posture of devotion and commitment. You can join them, in seeking the Lord, in repentance of our sins, individually and as a nation. God hears and answers, as we turn to him, and leave our sin to obey God.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)
