Lion Of Judah Worship

OXYGEN Easter Collection 02by Hazel Straub

Lion of Judah, you are holy and worthy of all of my worship
Holy, praiseworthy, deliverer, redeemer, savior, the one who sets us free
With the sound of the lion’s roar, the enemy flees
Freedom from the snares, bondages, and chains because the blood reigns

Hallelujah! Free to worship and magnify the lion of Judah’s name!

But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.” (Revelation 5:5 NLT)

Rejoicing In The Lord

iu-3by Hazel Straub

No matter what the circumstances in which we find ourselves, the joy of the Lord is our strength. Our health may go, the job disappear, the mortgage be past due, people lie and gossip about us. But the joy of the Lord gives us strength.

I will rejoice in the goodness of the Lord. You my are my rock and my strength. Lord, you bring me through deep waters and keep me safe. Your joy bubbles out of me.

Even if the fig tree does not blossom
and there are no grapes on the vines,
If the olive trees fail to give fruit
and the fields produce no food,
If the flocks die far from the fold
and there are no cattle in the stalls;
Then I will still rejoice in the Eternal!
I will rejoice in the God who saves me!
The Eternal Lord is my strength!
He has made my feet like the feet of a deer;
He allows me to walk on high places. (Habakkuk 3:17-19 VOICE)

Choose Life Or Death

iurby Hazel Straub

When life is cold and stormy, relationships tested and fraying, betrayed, do you despair or see these circumstances as opportunities? Two people can face the same challenges but view them completely differently. One despairs, loses heart, grows bitter feeling victimized, throws a self-pity party and shakes their fists in frustration. They relied on their own wit, strength and strategies, without success. The other one looks and sees the stage set for major change, due to God’s intervention. This one, dies to their flesh, pride, and independent ways. Instead they envision troubles as an opportunity and expect God to shine and get the glory. It is at the darkest hour that they see how only God can deal with the insurmountable problems, healing, restoring, and bringing new life.

Troubles are the catalyst for personal, family, church, city and national new life. Restoration and revival happen when God’s people unite in humbling themselves, change their minds and turn away from their sins, cry out to God for mercy and seek him with all their hearts, putting him first. Your response brings either life or death.

“If I ever shut off the supply of rain from the skies or order the locusts to eat the crops or send a plague on my people, and my people, my God-defined people, respond by humbling themselves, praying, seeking my presence, and turning their backs on their wicked lives, I’ll be there ready for you: I’ll listen from heaven, forgive their sins, and restore their land to health.” (2 Chronicles 7:13–14 MSG)

Tempted To Quit?

iuby Hazel Straub

How many times has the difficulty of the journey seemed too much? You wanted the hardness and difficulties to end, so you could live an easier life without the hardship, disappointments and rejection. When you cried to the Lord for relief, he told you that he wasn’t delivering you from the what you were going through but he would stay and go with you through it. This experience was hard but you triumphed, dying to your fleshly self, living through Jesus and his blood and grew through the trial.

Little did you know, your test became your testimony for others that were struggling. You blazed a trail that gave hope and encouragement to many. Your overcoming witness helped encourage them in their struggles. The life and light of one who overcomes has power to infuse the same into others. You are powerful because you haven’t quit! The blood of Jesus causes the enemy to flee and for you to overcome.

Salvation and power are established!
Kingdom of our God, authority of his Messiah!
The Accuser of our brothers and sisters thrown out,
who accused them day and night before God.
They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb
and the bold word of their witness.
They weren’t in love with themselves;
they were willing to die for Christ. (Revelation 12:10-11 MSG)

Thirsty For More

Deer drinking waterby Hazel Straub

Yahweh, I thirst in my soul for you
No one other than you, Lord will do
So I’m fixing my eyes on you, Lord
Living Water for my soul you pour

More of you Living Water is my cry!

As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. (Psalms 42-1-2b NKJV)

Resting Under The Shadow Of Almighty

by Hazel Straub

Resting underneath the shaiudow of the Almighty’s wings
Dwelling in the Most High worshipping, my heart sings
Drawing close to him giving my heart, he’s all I ever need
Responding to his voice, his love most gratefully received

Leaving all my worries, stresses and cares with him
Trusting, knowing  he will handle every one of them
Coming close and learning what gives him delight
Enjoying his presence and love with all my might

He rescues me from danger, others’ anger and daggers
His strength causes me to rest, trust, not stress or stagger
He mounts me up on eagle’s wings and causes me to soar
Cause he’s my refuge, my dwelling and my protecting  door
