Freedom From Anxiety

God met me more than halfway,
he freed me from my anxious fears.
Look at him; give him your warmest smile.
Never hide your feelings from him.
When I was desperate, I called out,
and God got me out of a tight spot.

God’s angel sets up a circle
of protection around us while we pray.

how good God is.

How Is Your Faith Eyesight?

How do you look at the circumstances in which you find yourself? Do you see with spiritual vision and faith? Or do you look at things in the natural realm and get intimidated?

Elisha an Old Testament prophet, had a young servant who looked at the enemy surrounding the city and became fearful. Elisha prayed that God would open the servant’s eyes and let him really see. God heard and showed the servant that the hills filled with angels and heavenly chariots. There was no need to fear because the truth was God, had him covered and was with him.

Today, I pray that God would open your eyes of faith, so you would know there is nothing to fear because he is with you. Whatever, the enemy has thrown at you will not prosper because greater are the ones with you than the ones against you. God, grant each one to have eyes of faith to see your reality. Thank you Lord that you fight our battles! Your love and the blood of Jesus prevails.

Early in the morning a servant of the Holy Man got up and went out. Surprise! Horses and chariots surrounding the city! The young man exclaimed, “Oh, master! What shall we do?”

He said, “Don’t worry about it—there are more on our side than on their side.”

Then Elisha prayed, “O God, open his eyes and let him see.”

The eyes of the young man were opened and he saw. A wonder! The whole mountainside full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha! 2 Kings 6:15-17 MSG)

Prayer Changes Things

 Worried, without answers? Call on the Lord when you are desperate and need help. Let him be the first responder to your concerns. He hears your cry and answers. Nothing is too difficult for God.

So they cried out to the LORD in their distress, and God brought them out safe from their desperate circumstances. God quieted the storm to a whisper; the sea’s waves were hushed. So they rejoiced because the waves had calmed down; then God led them to the harbor they were hoping for. (Psalm 107:28-30 CEB)

Do Not Fear

What giants have tried to intimidate and silence you? Sickness, crisis, debt, fear, bad reports, mockery, pain, inadequacy, lies, shadows, youth? The giants want to get you to quit, before you get started. They do not want you to know that with God, you are unstoppable. They want to rob your God-given dreams and to defeat you with thinking that you cannot envision and walk in success, defeating the giants that seem undefeatable. Take courage and fear not for the Great I AM is with you. He will never leave you or desert you. Speak to the giants in the name of the Lord your God and watch them topple. The light of God casts down all the shadows of giants.

You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its remotest parts And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ “Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored; Those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.… (Isaiah 41:9-11)

Rejoicing In The Lord

No matter what the circumstances in which we find ourselves, the joy of the Lord is our strength. Our health may go, the job disappear, the mortgage be past due, people lie and gossip about us. But the joy of the Lord gives us strength.

I will rejoice in the goodness of the Lord. You my are my rock and my strength. Lord, you bring me through deep waters and keep me safe. Your joy bubbles out of me.

Even if the fig tree does not blossom
and there are no grapes on the vines,
If the olive trees fail to give fruit
and the fields produce no food,
If the flocks die far from the fold
and there are no cattle in the stalls;
Then I will still rejoice in the Eternal!
I will rejoice in the God who saves me!
The Eternal Lord is my strength!
He has made my feet like the feet of a deer;
He allows me to walk on high places. (Habakkuk 3:17-19 VOICE)

Yahweh Our Physician

Yahweh our covenant keeping God is so good to us. He is our doctor and forgives our sins and heals all our diseases. Because of him we lack nothing. We praise his name!

Praise Yahweh, my soul,
and never forget all the good he has done:
He is the one who forgives all your sins,

God Is Near

Life brings many unexpected challenges. Children rebel, sickness comes, relationships fail. But Yahweh stays close and rescues us. There is no need to worry because he is near and solves our issues.
