The LORD Is My Song!

by Hazel Straub

Songs of praise and worship break forth from my lips, to the LORD who is my strength. He is my song and who has brought victory. He has done mighty things for us and we praise him! Join in the song of praise!

The Lord is my strength and my song;
he has given me victory.
Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly.
The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things!
The strong right arm of the Lord is raised in triumph.
The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things! (Psalm 118:14-16 NLT)

The Love Of Daddy God

by Hazel Straub

Praising Daddy God for his tender love
He calls us his beloved, sends his dove
He holds us close, leads and provides
All our needs he abundantly supplies

Although there are trials and tests
He leads and guides, in him we rest
Lavishly celebrates us at the table
In the presence of enemies disabled

Nothing can separate us from his care
Generously gave Christ’s life to share
Adopted and made us his royalty, his sons
We inherit the kingdom of God, it’s done

Rejoice and let Daddy God’s joy overflow
Surely goodness and mercy a river flows
Forever dwell in the house of Daddy God
Love, life, light, indwells his living Word

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 NLT)

Living In God’s Light

by Hazel Straub

God is light and there is no darkness in him. Light casts out all darkness. When we have fellowship with God, we live in his light. We then enjoy friendship with other believers and the blood of Jesus, the Son of God cleanses us from all our sin. Living in the light is wonderful!

This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:5-7 NLT)

Listening To Instruction

by Hazel Straub

The one who pays attention to instructions and  takes correction, brings life to himself and to others. A leader is first a good follower and welcomes a rebuke because it helps keep one on the right path. The one who refuses to listen to correction brings destruction on oneself and others who follow.

He who heeds instruction and correction is [not only himself] in the way of life [but also] is a way of life for others. And he who neglects or refuses reproof [not only himself] goes astray [but also] causes to err and is a path toward ruin for others. (Proverbs 10:17 AMPC)

Beloved Children

by Hazel Straub

Daddy God  lavishes extravagant love on us and calls us his beloved children. He gives us our identity and provides and cares for us. There is no doubt that he loves us. We will be like Christ. Amazing!

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. You Are Valuable!

by Hazel Straub

Your true worth is not based on your performance or how you think about yourself. Instead God sets your value and he decrees you are valuable.

We change our negative thoughts, that produce toxic emotions, by releasing and letting them go. Replace them with God’s truth about your worth. Change your focus and your viewpoint. Take a step forward and look at God, how much he loves and accepts you. Take one of these Bible verses and speak and declare it out loud, think on it. It is a process that will change your life!

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. (1 John 4:9-10 NLT)

All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. (1 John 4: 15-16 NLT)

But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God.
I will always trust in God’s unfailing love. (Psalm 52:8 NLT)

You Have Victory In Christ

by Hazel Straub

Discouraged, tired and wanting to quit the battle? Our fight is not with flesh and blood but with principalities and rulers of darkness. Fear, intimidation, lies and shifting shadows are the weapons used to paralyze you, with toxic emotions, attempting to cause you to quit. Instead, remember that you live in Christ and he lives in you. Christ has won the victory and his victory is yours.

So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard or ensign against him. (Isaiah 59:19 KJV) The Spirit of the Lord fights for us. Keep your focus on the Lord, not the enemy and know you win!  Rejoice in the Lord fighting for you and praise him. He gives strength to those who are weak.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4 KJV)

Blessing Of Hope

by Hazel Straub

May God bring overflowing hope to you that inspires, with bubbling joy and perfect peace, as you trust and have faith in him. The power of Holy Spirit make you excellent of soul with fountains of abundant hope that flows out of you.

May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope. (Romans 15:13 AMPC)

Faith In God Brings Great Rewards

by Hazel Straub

Faith makes the unseen reality. Faith believes God’s voice commanded and created all the universe. The unseen (words) brought the seen (creation), into reality. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Faith causes us to seek God with our whole hearts.

Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for. Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen. (Hebrews 11:1-3 TPT)

And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him. (Hebrews 11:6 TPT)
