Conquered By The Good Shepherd

by Hazel Straub

Feeling battle fatigue? In a war zone with no end in sight? Good news, God, your Good Shepherd, accompanies you through the darkness and guides and comforts you! His faithful love conquers all the negative emotions.

You are not alone, he fights for you, and infuses you with his peaceful presence. All fear leaves because his love surrounds you, fills you with joy despite the circumstances. The dark pathway soon ends and his light and life are your portion.

Lord, even when your path takes me through
the valley of deepest darkness,
fear will never conquer me, for you already have!
You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way.
Your authority is my strength and my peace.
The comfort of your love takes away my fear.
I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. (Psalm 23:4 TPT)

Holy Spirit Fruit

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Be led, motivated, and driven by the Spirit of God, not by your emotions, circumstances, or your fleshly appetite. Being led by the Holy Spirit is exemplifying the Father’s heart.

“But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:18, 22, 23)

Trust And Focus On Jesus!

by Hazel Straub

When the world seems out of control, does fear grip your heart? Change your focus from the storms swirling around you and fix your gaze on the Lord. He never changes and is always there, when you rely on him and enjoy his presence.

As a believer in Jesus, his righteousness is yours. Roll all the heavy burdens onto him because he cares for you. Rest and snuggle close to the Lord and delight yourself in his love for you. He keeps you safe as you trust him!

Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
And He will make your uprightness and right standing with God go forth as the light, and your justice and right as [the shining sun of] the noonday.
Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. (Psalm 37: 3-7 AMPC)

God Loves All Of Us!

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

The Love of God has broken through the enemies of our soul and barriers of our bloodlines.

I am completely ignorant of what George Floyd was thinking or praying when he was knee held and asphyxiated on the ground. I do not know specifically, what mantles or spiritual significance were on his life.

However, I do know something of God was definitely on his life.
I believe God has used his life and untimely murder to birth unusual unity. Not conformity but an unfamiliar unity unmanufactured by man. A unity not limited to America but all around the globe.

The tragedy of his death, is extremely devastating and severely traumatizing for Mr. Floyd, his family, community, and race. However, the impact is unfathomable, to see the peaceful protests, with a rainbow of color participants, the major companies and commercials supporting “Black Lives Matter.” The God-fearing policemen kneeling to pray in honor and respect. The many artists who have used their craft to display their passion, compassion, and care. In the midst of a pandemic, opposing threats of violence, a besmirched and discolored history of slavery, we come together as one.

This day, my eyes and my heart are filled with many tears, many reflections, and many emotions. I have to pause and thank God for my life, my family, my race and for my spiritual family. I would never use the phrase “Black Lives Matter”, in an ostentatious, condescending of other races, or feeling of superiority.

Rather, a revelation, encouragement, and sobering mind of humility, after many years of racial rejection, spiritual rejection and yes, even self-rejection. From many directions, I look around and see racial acceptance. In the most unlikely and remote places, I hear not hate speeches, but speeches of sincere benevolence, ardent consideration, and tender mercy.

Then to look at the many young people, their innocent bravery, eagerness to heal, and willingness to change the systemic racism and ill treatment of blacks in America. My heart is so full, abounding, and bursting with joy.

I have genuine spiritual sons and daughters of many races, and they know I love them, all individually, without respect or regards to the pigmentations of their skin. I endeavor to live holy and follow peace with all men, for without holiness no man shall see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14) I have not always succeeded but I refuse to stop yielding to the Holy Spirit who empowers me.

Beloved, something has broken in the heart of humanity. It is huge, it is God’s love for us, ALL OF US. The love that knows no boundaries, sees and embraces all races equally, and loves without reason, unconditionally. This is the pure agape Love of Abba, our Father.

I am so grateful to see, hear, and feel the love and acceptance. I stand for righteousness and justice for all. Although, I am not oblivious nor inexperienced with the prejudiced and unfair treatment due to the pigmentation of my skin.

I am fighting to love and not fighting to be right. I am moving forward to live with all humanity. For if one is always looking backwards and is fixated on the past, one will become history.

We must move beyond any prejudice that is deep within our bloodline. Prejudice means that you judge someone out of your own background, wounds, and ideology. It is prime time for these judgements to leave the body of Christ.

Yes, Abba, I repent of all my sin, and for any part I played in it. I rededicate my life to you God. I pledge my allegiance to Christ, and for the sacrifice of his life, for all nations, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The Secret For Abundant Life!

by Hazel Straub

Filled with fear concerning the events on the news? Cultivate faith and dependence on God in your life-walk. Know the Lord walks beside you and provides for you. No need to fear the chaotic darkness because the light of God living in you, casts out the darkness.

Focusing on the circumstances that surround you will not bring victory. Fully rely, trust and rest in God and his promises.Let the Word of God fill your thoughts and his Holy Spirit will bring abundant life to you through Jesus your Redeemer.

You become my delicious feast
even when my enemies dare to fight.
You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit;
you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows.
So why would I fear the future?
For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life.
Then afterward, when my life is through,
I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you! (Psalm 23:5-6 TPT)

True Manifestation Of The Sons Of God

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

If we would spend more time loving (like Christ loves us), honoring (publicly and in private), helping (regardless of personal gain or sacrifice), encouraging (in word and deed), and interceding (praying God’s heart and not ours) for one another, we would have less time to do the opposite. The world would see the true manifestation of the sons of God, seriously take notice, recognize us as Christ disciples, and be drawn to Christ.

We cannot afford to continue to fight one another, or kill another person because of their weakness, our personal dislike, or preference, or wallow and pride ourselves in an offense. The first two letters of the devil’s name “de,” means to reverse in action.

The enemy thrives on us reversing our warfare from him, to warring against each other. We cannot die anymore from the spiritual welfare of the past moves, opinions, and systems of men. We must love to live, and live to love one another, as Christ loved the “church (his church),” and gave himself for it…pure worship.

Where Is The Love?

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Be released from yesterday into the new day and new era of the fresh wineskin presence of the Lord! Father, show your people off for your glory and make them greater advertisement for your kingdom!

The truth is this, whether we’re guilty or forgiven, God’s love for us is the same. We’ve been given the ministry of reconciliation. Some of our conversations and speeches, many times reveal where our love levels are. Unfortunately, many major on the giftings but they forget that love is between first Corinthians chapters 12 and 14. Love is the foundation, the motivation, the glue that causes it all to mesh. The body of Christ suffers from schism diseases, due to the missing vitamin, the pure Love of God, in demonstration towards each other.

The world will identify us by our love for one another, as Jesus’ disciples. Therefore, we need the Father to raise our love levels. True love and true covenant are not valued because we are more impressionable than relational.

Jesus said, in Matthew 7:22-23: “…many will say to me. Lord! Lord!” We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in you name. But I will reply, I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.”

God’s law is love and against such there is no law. The word “knew” in this passage, means to know intimately, therefore, we cannot be intimate without relationship. The real becomes the target because of the commonality; for not succumbing to the status quo. Our love for each other should reflect our love for Jesus. We treat each other how we treat God. Our relationships with each other lacks depth and continuity due to a lack of trust. This is why our worship is shallow. Therefore, our worship is how we treat each other, when we do not agree.

Who gladly loves more, more and more while they are loved less, less and less? Yet Paul says, “I do not care whether you love me or not, I am willing to destitute myself completely, not merely for your sakes, but that I may draw you to God.” (2 Corinthians 12:15)

We love better, when we love with the purpose of drawing others closer to God and loving beyond ourselves. We know the Scriptures, head knowledge, but love is not exemplified. Love will keep us together. Our love job is to restore anyone who is overtaken in a fault, not bury them or beat them with it. “Less we be tempted or fall into the same thing.” God’s love is selfless, our love is selfish, this grieves the heart of God, how we treat each other, calling ourselves ambassadors of Christ.

Rather than love motivating us, we seek prestige, worldly acclaim, ambition, and self-promotion. Where is the love? There are many people from different walks of life that are non exemplary of true covenant. The heart of God bleeds at how we proclaim what is wrong with someone else, while at the same time we are personally desiring love and mercy. We cannot deny that we all have struggles, however, love will keep us together.

If we speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, we are nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. If we speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if we have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but we don’t love, we are nothing. If we give everything we own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but we don’t love, we have gotten nowhere. So, no matter what we say, what we believe, and what we do, we are bankrupt without love. If we say we love God and hate our brothers we are liars.

  Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
                  Love doesn’t strut,
                  Doesn’t have a swelled head,
                  Doesn’t force itself on others,
                  Isn’t always “me first,”
                  Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others nor keep record of the wrongs                                               suffered,
                   Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
                   Puts up with anything,
                   Trusts God always,
                   Always looks for the best,
                   Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

Love never dies. Prophesying will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our “incompletes” will be canceled.

When I was an infant at my mother’s breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good.

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. The best of the three is love. Love, love will keep us together! (1 Corinthians 13:1-13 MSG)

Fruit Inspectors Of Others?

by Hazel Straub

We have no problem inspecting someone else’s fruit and seeing their sins and issues. It is much more difficult to see the error of one’s own ways. We need to ask the Lord to search our hearts, and to cleanse us. Then we will have hearts filled with humble gratitude for what the Lord is doing in our life, as we meditate on his mercy and compassion for us. Then we will extend compassion and mercy to others.

Who can see his own mistakes and sins that lurk in the heart? Forgive and cleanse my sins that I do not see. And keep Your servant from sinning, by going my own prideful, arrogant, and rebellious way. Do not let these sins control and rule over me. Then I will be without blame. And I will not be found guilty of big sins. Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart, on which I meditate, be pleasing in Your eyes, O Yahweh, my Rock and the One Who saves me. (Psalms 19:12-14)

Apostolic Wisdom

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

The people who truly support and believe in the call of God on your life, are ecstatic, love when God starts elevating you, and cannot resist helping you. They have the God kind of love, because it delightfully thrills them to see you embrace who you are in Christ.

However, those who do not truly support and believe in God’s vision for your life, are apathetic, loathe when God starts promoting you, and cannot help but destructively criticize you in lieu of helping. They have the “crab mentality”, for it makes them uncomfortably ill to see you embrace who you are in Christ.

The term crab mentality refers to the behavior of crabs in the bucket or pot, who try to seek freedom. The crabs could easily escape one after another but they pull down each other and prevent anyone from escaping. In the process they collectively, suffer suffocation and death. In other words, they kill each other off, instead of lifting each other up.
