“Help me, God!” How many times have you cried to the Lord God to deliver you from your painful difficult circumstances? Instead of quick deliverance, he speaks, “I’m walking with you through these things, so you can become more like me.”
The hardships that you face today, help you become more like Christ. They expose your heart and cause you to depend on Father God, your Problem Solver. As you praise, worship, and love him, your perspective changes. A change of focus, brings the presence of God, that transforms you from the inside out, into the image of his Son, Jesus.
So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us, from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him. (Romans 8:28-29 TPT)
