Father Forgives And Forgets

Disappointed With God?

Disappointed or do you think God did not come through for you? He does not work in our timeframes but has wonderful plans for us.

In John chapter 11, Jesus received a message that his friend Lazarus was very sick and to come. Instead Jesus delayed coming. When he arrived, Lazarus had been dead four days. The sisters of Lazarus and their friends were disappointed that Jesus had not come earlier and healed him. Jesus had a bigger purpose and raised Lazarus from the dead. This resulted in many believing that Jesus was the Son of God. Their sorrow turned to joy.

Know that God is at work in your life, even when your expectations are not met. He loves and has compassion for you! He is there for you.

Then with a loud voice Jesus shouted with authority: “Lazarus! Come out of the tomb!”
Then in front of everyone, Lazarus, who had died four days earlier, slowly hobbled out—he still had grave clothes tightly wrapped around his hands and feet and covering his face! Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him and let him loose.” From that day forward many of those who had come to visit Mary believed in him, for they had seen with their own eyes this amazing miracle!  (John 11:443-45 TPT)

Love God Better!

A great portion of our worship isn’t in the lifting of our hands, raising our voice in song, ministering in the dance, or other physical activity on and on. Our greatest portion of worship is HOW WE TREAT EACH OTHER, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE DON’T AGREE. This is a reflection of how we treat Yahweh.

I asked The Lord a question, “Why do we treat each other the way we do?” His reply, “Because of the way you treat ME, WHEN YOU TREAT ME BETTER. YOU WILL TREAT EACH OTHER BETTER.”

Let’s Love God better, so we can love each other better. This is the real evidence that we are in the presence of The Lord, then we are exemplary of HIS HEART, not the heart of man’s religion…Selah

Focus On God!

Keep your focus on the Lord, rather than all the circumstances swirling around you. Looking into his face, causes fear to flee and peace to envelop you. Trust in God not the shifting shadows. He will never fail you.

God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to hide! You’re a proven help in time of trouble;                                        More than enough and always available                                    Whenever I need you!                         So we will never fear                       Even if every structure of support were to crumble away!
We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes.
Moving mountains and casting them into the sea.
For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves
Cannot erode our faith in you.
Pause in his presence

Catch The Little Foxes

You must catch the troubling foxes,
those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together. (Song of Songs 2:15 TPT)

Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches, Little foxes spoil the vine and include our thought life, what comes out of our mouth, and sins we commit that are obvious to all.

Take every thought captive through Christ Jesus. When you rehearse small offenses, not recognizing their toxicity, it will spoil your relationships within the body of Christ (the vine) and with God. Cast down every negative thought, when it intrudes on your mind or it will lodge in your heart. Soon the heart hardens, due to the trampling of many footprints of offense that walk over your mind, will and emotions (the heart).

Abba God, thank you for your Spirit living inside of me. Search my heart and see if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in your everlasting way. I work with you to capture and remove the toxic sinful thoughts, as I take every thought captive through Christ. I turn from sin and negativity to you, forgiving and releasing all who offend me, including myself. Purify and change my heart, until it is pliable and tender. Teach me to love like you love, forgive, as you forgive and release offenders and all offenses. Give me a hunger for your Word, so I will transform my mind by meditating on it.

Abba God, I put on the mind of the Anointed One. Grant your eyesight for vision to see through filters of your love, mercy and compassion. Every thought captivated in Abba God, as I crucify my flesh.  The dunamis, resurrection power, filling and making me, excellent of soul. Thank you, Lord, for a fresh start today.
Amen
