How Do You Treat Yourself?

The Love Of Jesus

The love shown by Jesus, Redeemer, Lord, Master, Bridegroom and Lover, is without end. He love never ends and his compassion and mercy are new every morning. He never tires of loving me, no matter how I act. His love overflows and never runs dry, while I drink deeply from his well.

The door of my heart, I open wide, yield, so you, Jesus, can come and sup with me. Everything changes as we feast together. I delight in your loving presence that refreshes, renews, and restores.

Behold, I’m standing at the door, knocking If your heart is open to hear my voice and you open the door within, I will come in to you and feast with you, and you will feast with me. (Revelation 3:20)

Know Your Identity

Where do you get your identity? Believers in Jesus, have his identity. Through him we are adopted into the family of God. Our identity does not come from what others think of us or what we think but from Christ. Do not listen to the enemy of our souls, who wants to steal your true identity. You are God’s child!

You have all become true children of God by faith in Jesus Christ!  Faith immersed you into Christ, and now you are covered and clothed with his life.  And we no longer see each other in our former state—Jew or non-Jew, rich or poor,male or female—because we’re all one through our union with Jesus Christ. (Galatians 3:26-28 TPT)

Trust In The Lord

God calls us to live in his presence through his son, Jesus. He gives us abundant life but we must receive it. Too often we let doubt and unbelief rule and merely survive not thrive. Instead, when we trust in God, rivers of living water will flow out of us, bringing life.

The words of our mouth come from what is inside our heart. When we agree with God, the words we speak bring vibrant life and agree with his Word. Meditate on and speak his words over your life. They are life to your body, soul, and spirit.

Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions.  With all your heart rely on him to guide you,  and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong.Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for. (Proverbs 3:5-8 TPT)
