The Key To Excellent Life

by Hazel Straub

The Apostle Paul writes about the key to excellent life. His circumstances, of plenty or lack, did not dictate whether he truly lived life, not merely existing. His secret was to do all things through Christ, who gave him strength. His focus and faith was in Christ, not the changes to his situation.

Can you say with Paul, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me?”

I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13-14 NLT)

“Do all things through Christ who gives you strength.”

I’ve never seen or heard this familiar scripture verse stated this way before. It’s so simple and straightforward! Not easy, but a good plan. Thank you, sister Hazel. Blessings!

Amen. Remaining faithful in Christ in all situations we encounter . . . He will bring us home to Him.
