Rejoice, when you go through a season, in the desert! Often, we concentrate on the unpleasant circumstances and not the fact that Daddy God is carrying us and supplying all our needs. He uses the desert to humble us and make us God-reliant not self-reliant. This brings us into deeper relationship, with him.
The desert stripping process, prepares us for promotion and entry into our Promised Land.
And in the desert, where you saw him carrying you along like a man carries his son. This he did everywhere you went until you came to this very place. (Deuteronomy 1:31 NET)

So true that the desert times prepare us for the mountain tops. Moses went from the palace to the desert and then lead the children of Israel, in that same desert. Then he had several mountain top experiences, and lived face to face with Yahweh daily and on Mount Sinai. He had the eyesight and strength of a young man as he climbed his last mountain and saw the Promised Land before his death, at age 120. God’s presence changed everything!
