Everyone puts their trust in someone or something. Many trust in what gives fleeting pleasure, prestige or popularity. This includes reliance on yourself, money, possessions, employment, or relationships. We who trust in Yahweh God, who is with us today, have a firm foundation that cannot be shaken.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Yahweh our God.
They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm. (Psalm 20:7-8 NIV)
