Live To Please God Or Man?

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Be a God pleaser and not a man pleaser. Be balanced in your dealings and interactions with people. Let Christ be the center and motivation for all you do.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10 KJV)

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10 NIV)

“for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” Wow!! This is something I needed to see, in an “ouch” kind of way. Thank you!

Shout this from the rooftops! (I struggled with people pleasing for far too long.) When the Holy Spirit frees us we are free indeed. ❤️

In the past I put pleasing others before God and myself, then one day I put God first in my life and everything now just seems to work out for the best for me
