That is soooo the message of Jer 29, but the typically omitted Ts & Cs of verses 12 through 14. People want the pudding without the heat of baking it.

Yes, we have to return to the Lord and change from rebellion. When we get close to the Lord, he will burn away the dross. It is not pleasant but we are purified.
