Your Thoughts Chart Your Actions

by Hazel Straub

What you make the focus of your thoughts, will come out in your actions. If you constantly worry or think about your problems, you will spiral downwards. It is so important to renew your mind and change your focus. How can this happen? Mediate on the truth found in the Word of God and his faithfulness.

When you think constantly on the promises of God, fear leaves. Renewal of your mind happens as you think how God is with you. His word is a light to our path, changes us from within, and gives us life. Our thoughts gravitate to God and we gain greater clarity in hearing his voice. Blessings pursue the ones who think on the Word, listen, and obey God’s voice.

Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete. (Romans 12:2 VOICE)

So true. That’s why we should saturate our minds with the Word of God, so we can see, act, talk and in the truth of God’s promises. No room for fear
