It’s possible to totally free yourself from the opinions and expectations of others?
The best I’ve been able to do is to turn down the volume, so to speak, and put them in the background.
I hear you, though brother. Looking to God alone (in faith) is key. Blessings.

Nothing is impossible when we put our trust in God! People pleasing is idol worship because it puts people before God. Many people mentioned in Hebrews 11, were God pleasers not men pleasers.

It is. We also can’t please God out of our own doing. That is even more draining for anyone who’s tried – it will inevitably fail. We live by His grace, and let him do his work in us. 🙂
