Agape Love Of God

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

The Love of God (agape), helps me to not over focus on myself but on Christ’s desires for others. In the ministry of reconciliation, I’m enrolled in the University of the Holy Spirit, for life. I’m taking refresher courses on Humility, Advanced Deliverance, and Love One On One, Love One On You, and Love One On Me, for credits to righteousness.

Lord, restore my purity, my spiritual innocence, and spiritual virginity to You!

  2. What a beautiful pure post of the love of God! So many go to the cemetery (seminary) of man,and Christs church is one built through the Holy spirit by genuine repentance, and as you wrote is one of reconciliation which only God ordains. Be Blessed in Him.

  7. It may be an unconventional perception, but I, a believer in Christ’s unmistakable miracles, like to picture Jesus as being one who’d enjoy a belly-shaking laugh over a good, albeit clean, joke with his disciples, rather than always being the stoically serious type of savior.

Imagine a creator who has a great sense of humor rather than foremost a fire-and-brimstone bad temper!

I sometimes wonder how many potential Christians have felt repelled from the faith altogether due to the vocal angry-God-condemnation brand of the religion, perhaps which more resembles the God of the Jehovah’s Witness faith, Quran and Torah.

Our collective human need for retributive ‘justice’—regardless of Christ (and great spiritual leaders) having emphasized unconditional forgiveness—may be intrinsically linked to the same unfortunate morally-flawed aspect of humankind that enables the most horrible acts of violent cruelty to readily occur on this planet.

    • Keeping our focus on Christ and his wonderful redemptive giving of his life for forgiveness of our sins changes everything. We pass on his love and forgiveness to others. He is our example of how to live in humble love through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

  8. Is it a coincidence I spent the morning writing in my journal about love and reconciliation…? I think not. 🙂 You’ve summed it up so beautifully. God’s love helps us focus less on ourselves and more on the desires He has for others. There it is. Thank you!
