Listening Prayer

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

If you do all the talking when you pray, you leave no room for the Lord to say anything. The more quieter you become, the more able you are to hear. If you want to hear his voice, simply, take the time to Listen…Selah

God is not an idol, we need to wait for an answer anytime we pray. Great post🌹

Good word! LOL! I literally just read (and prayed) in Jeremiah, “call to Me and I will show you great and mighty things you do not know”.
How can I hear if I’m not quiet??
    Thanks for the confirmation.
(Sometimes even the most obvious gets a confirmation- it’s what the Lord is saying to me today!) Thank You, Jesus.
And thank you for you right-on writing.
    God bless you!

It is amazing what we hear God saying to us, when we listen. Praise God for confirmation!

Oh, but in our world today, there are so many things that can prevent us from listening. That’s why we must be intentional about being still. What a challenging post this is!!

Yes, we must listen. Jesus said that his sheep know his voice and come at his call. We must shut out the distractions.

Very true,we must allow God to speak to us.He doesn’t utter anything loudly but he puts beautiful ideas for resolving our problems,he even brings out an idea to pray in a different way. Thanks for the blessed post.☺️

Amen! And when we talk to God let’s do a little more than giving him our wish list 🙏

Yes! God has so much he wants to tell us. It is not much of a relationship when only one person does all the talking.
