Abba, Father, Restore!
Inspired by a word from Apostle Gabriel Cross
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear,
but you received the Spirit of adoption
by whom we cry out,” Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:15
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son
into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
Galatians 4:6
Abba, we praise you and worship you as we begin this brand-new day.
Father, I thank you for who you are and all you are and have done for me.
Help me to be mindful of your goodness in all I do and say.
Expand the eyes of my heart to see all you created me to be
Abba, Father, heal and restore every broken place in my heart.
Anoint me to stop settling for less than the best you created me for.
Although you have been more than gracious and kind, I must do my part
To honor you and glorify your name, not less but even more.
During times of deep sorrow when pain pierces my soul like a knife,
I call out to you, knowing you alone hear me and understand.
Abba, you touched, refreshed, and restored my soul with new life.
Reveal your glory and help me see the beauty of your master plan
My heart overflows with thanks for all that you have given
