Do The Unexpected–Bless Not Curse

by Hazel Straub

Honor the King of kings today, blessing and not cursing. To those who irritate, show graciousness. To those who degrade, show love. Season your interactions today with love and mercy!

Never retaliate when someone treats you wrongly, nor insult those who insult you, but instead, respond by speaking a blessing over them—because a blessing is what God promised to give you. (1 Peter 3:9 TPT)

Let the light of love shine when people treat you with insults and aggression. We have the best example in our Lord Jesus. Let us follow Him.

It is the way of Jesus. Blessing those who cursed him and forgiving those who killed him.
