If God said it would be done, it will happen! Consistently and persistently with faith, ask for what God has promised. Do not give up because there has been delay. Delay is not denial. It is time to see fulfillment for the persistent. God never changes and loves to answer prayers!
“Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.” (Matthew 7:7-8 TPT)

We must be persistent in our prayers! Far too many folks tend to think of God as some sort of’easy button’ in the sky and that by simply asking Him He will grant every whim. Persistent prayer is faith in action.
However, we must all realize that sometimes the answer to our prayers is no. When this occurs, we must trust in the sovereignty, wisdom and authority of God, knowing that what He deems is always best.
blessings,
Chuck

Chuck, sometimes God says no. But if we pray according to his promises in his Word, for instance praying for someone to be saved, it will happen because it is his will happen! There is a difference in praying according to his promises in his Word. He is not a button to be pushed.
Blessings,
Hazel

Turning to God in persistent prayer is the only way to deal with the false promises being made by our commercialized society, whose number one falsehood is that we can buy happiness through the acquisition of material goods.

Yes, I think that most of us just casually pray for things and except answers, and most of the time nothing ever happens. It is only when I delved into God’s Word, and continually prayed to Him morning, night and in between, it is only then that I found God revealing Himself to me in many beautiful ways. I realized that God is really here, not far away, and that He is interested in every aspect of my life. That was the beginning of my relationship with God.

Yes, God is very concerned about each one of us. He wants to talk to us and not have merely a one way conversation. He has promises for us and puts desires in our hearts. We have to be persistent until they are fulfilled, So good to know you have discovered prayer to God.It is wonderful!
