Distracted? Praise God!

by Hazel Straub

Distracted, fragmented and scattered? Regain clear focus! Change your focus, fix your gaze on the Lord God. Raise your sound of thankful praise to him. God inhabits the praises of his people and his presence brings into order, gives you new vision and puts things in right perspective. Where the Lord’s presence rests, there is victory!

Yet I know that you are most holy; it’s indisputable.
You are God-Enthroned, surrounded with songs,
living among the shouts of praise of your princely people. (Psalm 22:3 TPT)

Amen. How true this is. When we praise God, we are building a throne of God. Lord come and occupy your throne in midst of your people. πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈπŸ™ŒπŸ€—

I just preached Sunday on the vital importance of keeping our eyes fixed on the Lord. This is a great confirmation. It’s truly the only way to live in victory in this disoriented, disorganized world.

This is so great, I always love reading your posts! I don’t know if you take requests, but if you do, can you please do your next one on telling the difference between God’s commands and your imagination?

Glad you loved reading this post and others. I do not take requests. Briefly, God’s commands are written in the Bible and he will not contradict them. God also speaks to you as he did to many in the Bible. Your imagination can bring things to life. If you are reading the Bible, you could imagine you were there and seeing it first hand.
