In Alaska, at this time of year, we enjoy the midnight sun. It does not get dark at night and is light, 24 hours a day. People, plants, and all living things do well in the light.
In the same way, the Lord God, Yahweh, lights our way, casting out the darkness. Light shows us the pathway on which we can safely travel. It energizes us and warms us. Yahweh is our shelter and refuge, protecting us, and his love for us casts out fear.
The Lord is my light and my salvation—
so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger,
so why should I tremble? (Psalm 27:1 NLT)

Happy birthday Deb; 1John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
He has no condemnation for us, just love.
Matthew 4:16 the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
How glorious is the Lord’s love and light on us. He makes the darkness tremble. Happy Birthday.
