The Spirit of God gives us life. Human effort cannot give eternal life. The words of Jesus breathes Spirit and life to our innermost being, when we receive them.
Jesus said: “It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” (John 6:63 AMPC)

I praise God that His word convicts me of my flaws and highlights those areas in me that need work. As we agree with the Lord, He releases His power in us, which enables us to be obedient as He duplicates the beauty of His holiness in us. “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not even worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:28 What a fitting post for this wonderful blog, because God is the source of Pure Glory. Great post!
