Out of your heart (your mind and reasoning, will and emotions) the mouth speaks. If you have unhealed hurts that fester, what comes out of your mouth is negative. When you allow the trauma, drama and past hurts to be healed, in the light of God, your speech will show God’s light, life and love.
The good person out of the good treasury of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasury produces evil, for his mouth speaks from what fills his heart. (Luke 6:45 NET)

This is so true! I see it every day in the news, in politicians and others.

Yes and it is true of each one of us. We all speak from our hearts. Good or evil.

“When you allow the trauma, drama and past hurts to be healed, in the light of God, your speech will show God’s light, life and love.”–This is definitely something I recently learned. Now I speak with faith and compassion….and walk fearlessly.

And I’m still trying to break generational curses against my family in the name of Jesus. I have been backsliding so badly but if you knew my story, it’s a miracle that I am even still on God’s earth and trying anymore. Foul mouth or not, where there’s life, there’s hope.

God is attracted to darkness. His light casts out the darkness. None of us can save ourselves. Thank God for Jesus who died for us when we didn’t know him. Blessings of healing through Jesus’ finished work on the cross.

I’m praying about this…I know there are past hurts that are still hindering me from what God wants to do in my life. I know He is patient with me…but I’m feeling a lot less patient with myself. I am feeling frustrated.

Get in the presence of God. Let him heal your wounds. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who came to him. Sometimes, we need to ask him to heal our soul wounds. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead, was placed in our spirit when we accepted Jesus. In Greek it means excellent of soul. We can have our soul healed of its wounds by the resurrection power. Once our soul (our mind, will and emotions) are healed we will prosper and be in health.(3 John 1) Give yourself a break. None of us can heal ourselves, we all need the Savior, Healer and Deliverer. Blessings of healing.
