It depends on the person and their expectations.

Oh perhaps you could explain that a little further. I was thinking that destiny may be an expectation which God places on us. We do a lot of talking about fulfilling our destinies and that destiny is determined from Heaven.

Destiny which God puts inside of a person before they are born is not neccessarily an expectation. He puts gifts inside of each person for use in their destiny. Expectation is defined as a strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future or a belief that someone should or will achieve something. God has destinies for each person but also gives us free will. Not everyone fulfills their destiny due to their choice. People’s expectations can’t be equated with God designing and creating you for a certain destiny.

I nominated you for the (albeit fictitious) Unique Blogger Award (https://clevangelist.wordpress.com/2017/08/05/my-unique-blogger-award-nomination-and-the-importance-of-telling-your-own-story). Often, your posts are almost prophetic with regard to what’s going on in my life. This morning, I’m not sure. Please define what you mean by “unrealistic expectations” since God is capable of doing “exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think.” [Note: I’m hoping for the writer’s intent, not readers’ opinions of what they think he meant. Thank you.]
