Well Spoken Words Gold Apples

by Hazel Straub

A well-spoken word at just the right moment
is like golden apples in settings of silver.
To an attentive ear, constructive criticism from a truly wise person
is like an earring or jewelry made of fine gold.
(Proverbs 25:11-12 Voice)

  1. This is one of my favorite Proverbs. Have you ever read Florence Littauer’s book, Silver Boxes? It’s a fantastic little book – all about how we use our words.

    • Many of Florence Littauer’s books are familiar to me but not this one. Looked it up on the internet and read the first chapter and enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
