Prayer For Release Of Offenses

by Hazel Straub

It is the little foxes that spoil the vine. Take every thought captive through Christ Jesus. When you hold small offenses, not recognizing their toxicity, it will spoil your relationships within the body of Christ (the vine).  Cast down every negative thought, when it intrudes on your mind or it will lodge in your heart. Soon the heart hardens, due to the trampling of many footprints of offense that walk over your mind, will and emotions (the heart).

Abba God, thank you for your Spirit living inside of me, who is greater than he who is in the world. You check and convict me of sin. I now turn from sin and negativity to you, forgiving and releasing all who offend me, including myself. As I wash in the blood of the Lamb, make me whole. Purify and change my heart, until pliable and tender, I love like you love, forgive as you forgive and release offenders and offenses. Today, I put on the mind of the Anointed One. Grant your eyesight for vision to see through filters of your love, mercy and compassion. Every thought captivated in the oil of you, Abba God, as I crucify my flesh. Thank you for a fresh start today.

Little things grow into bigger things. Let’s destroy the ‘little’ sins (no such thing in God’s sight) and the bad habits before they become strong. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s God, cleanses from all sin.
