Philippians 4:18-20 (The Message)
“And now I have it all—and keep getting more! The gifts you sent with Epaphroditus were more than enough, like a sweet-smelling sacrifice roasting on the altar, filling the air with fragrance, pleasing God no end. You have assurance that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Our God and Father abounds in glory that just pours out into eternity. Yes.”
You cannot out give God no matter what you sacrifice for him. As you give of your money, time, worship and self to the Lord, he pours more than you gave back to you. What he gives you does not have a price. His abundance includes healing from childhood soul wounds, and generational curses along with answered prayers. Also included is deep abiding peace, abundant love, restored relationships, debts cancelled, groceries, bills paid with extra left over. You can count on God supplying all of your needs. He also pours his glory on you so you shine with the beauty of Jesus. Relax and praise God for his abundant and overflowing provision in your life!
I’m sure it was Spurgeon who said that we can’t outgive God because He always uses a bigger shovel. I have never known it to be otherwise. Our God is a giving God.
