God loves it when we boldly believe that he will help us when we ask him. He wants us to listen, as he gives us his wisdom. Don’t ask him for help, if you doubt and will not follow what he tells you to do. He hears and answers. Listen and believe.
James 1:5-8 (The Message)
“If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.”
This reminds me of something Vance Havner wrote. He said it is easier for God to do a difficult thing than an easy thing. The very structure of the infinite nature of God is that He is in the realm of the supernatural, the omnipotent and the infinite. When we ask God for some easy and trifling thing, there is always the danger of our mingling a certain amount of human reasoning or endeavour with our faith, but when we ask in the high altitude of the impossible, there is no place for anything but God.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting. God wants us to be in close relationship with him. He wants us to be tuned to his voice and listening. We his sheep know his voice. We are called to believe and trust him.
