The Aurora Borealis dance and swirl in large shimmering curtains of ever shifting light, covering the night sky. Their beauty heralds the glory of God as an awesome reminder of our Creator.
As I marvel at the Northern Lights, the Lord says,”You are my delight and I love to spend time with you. My love goes beyond what you have done either good or bad. I love you because you are my child and I enjoy you. Listen to my voice and know my heart towards you. My desire is to give you a hope and a future. No need to do or to try to get my love. I call you a human being so you will remember to be and not strive to earn my approval. I made you for my glory and I approve of you. Enjoy the lights but remember you contain more splendor and light than them.”
Psalm 19:1-4(a) (NIV 1984)
“The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.
There is no speech or language
where their voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.”
I smiled reading this scripture. We memorized this scripture with you. We would say it in our bed looking out the backyard window at the Slater house. Thank you for your love in our life, Hazel. Annie We love you too.
