The enemy is always attacking your belief system. Some of the things that you are going through is for others. God has put you on display for others who do not believe. If you can believe that all things are possible, you will see it happen.
Matthew 21:22 (KJV) “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
The power of words is unplumbed. The condition of the heart is outrageously wicked.
Lord, may the Words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight. O Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer, I need purity of heart, so my words will be worship to God.
Many times we plan out our life. We set goals, with our own schedule. But our plans get waylaid and do not happen. God, however, has purposes and great plans for our life that come to pass because he is faithful and loves us. Thankfully, he knows each one’s life purpose and how to get us there. His perfect timing in our lives is different from our thoughts.
Rest assured, God’s plans work so much better than our own. We can trust him to lead and guide us, in our God ordained destiny. Surrender your will to his. Enjoy the journey and the process!
Many plans are in a man’s mind, But it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out). (Proverbs 19:31 AMP)
THE LORD CAN HANDLE IT! Retire from worrying, analyzing, and rationalizing how and when. Start trusting, expecting, and resting in knowing, God can. God can handle it. He specializes in things too hard for you to handle period.
When moving in new realms and places of authority, oftentimes, the enemy will try to deter, distract, retard momentum, confuse, and inflict your emotions. There are three powerful things you can do to counter these attacks:
1. Worship-flee to the presence of Yahweh. Pour your heart out to Him. and allow Yahweh to pour his to you. Spend time listening to Him. Be quick to repent and forgive.
2. Rest-in quietness and trust, the times of refreshing come from the presence of Yahweh. Rest in his arms, in his care, in his love, repose. Rest your mind on his peace. Even warriors need R and R. Rest and Release it all to the Father. Only do what you have to do and rest.
3. Foster relationship. Do things that will cultivate relationship, avoid breaking covenant, fight to love, don’t fight to be right. Only dwell on Truth, faith-filled, and praiseworthy words. The enemy desires to divide, Yahweh desires to unite and reconcile. Remember our warfare isn’t with flesh and blood but against principalities, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
Many times, when God has us in a narrow tight place, we cry out for rescuing from our situation. We think, “If only God would quickly change our circumstances, everything would be fine.” Instead, God says he is not delivering usout of our difficulty but is walking with us through our predicament.
God is with us, so we will not fear. It is on the journey with him, that we have our character refined, are humbled and become more like Christ. Also hardship teaches us to focus on Yahweh, who is present with us, not on the water that seeks to overwhelm us or the flames that leap at us. He has promised that we will not drown nor will the fire burn or scorch us. He is our help and strength, in the midst of trials. He will make us a powerful testimony of overcoming, with the help of God, to many who do not know him yet.
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;” (Isaiah 43:1b – 3a NIV)
Every morning our mind needs resetting and recalibration. We do this by getting God’s perspective on our day. Read the Word of God out loud, ask Holy Spirit to teach you, make it come alive and change you from the inside. Pray and listen to God. No longer being driven by fear, doubt and unbelief but by having the mind of Christ, trust and receive, as you live in him. Change and reset your viewpoint, believe the Word, and agree with God!
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV)
Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. (Romans 12:2 TPT)
