Trust Yahweh

Yahweh will make your righteousness shine like a light, your just cause like the noonday sun. He will validate you.

Surrender yourself to Yahweh, quiet down, pray, trust and wait patiently for him. Do not be preoccupied with an evildoer who succeeds in his way, when he carries out his schemes and tramples on others.

Let go of anger, and leave rage, it only leads to evil. (Psalms 37:6-8)

God’s Word – My Meditation

God’s Word warns us of danger
and directs us to hidden treasure.
Otherwise how will we find our way
Or know when we play the fool?

Clean the slate, God, so we can start the day fresh!
Keep me from stupid sins,
from thinking I can take over your work;
Then I can start this day sun-washed,
scrubbed clean of the grime of sin.

These are the words in my mouth;
these are what I chew on and pray.
Accept them when I place them
on the morning altar,
O God, my Altar-Rock,
God, Priest-of-My-Altar. (Psalms 19:11-14 MSG)

Fear Yahweh

Fear stops us from walking God’s way and doing what God calls us to do. It is the enemy’s most powerful weapon, as it causes us to reason, to doubt and look at the obstacles not following Yahweh.

The beginning of wisdom is to fear Yahweh and to constantly think of him, his love and to listen to him. When we let go of our flesh, then we cause the enemy to fear because nothing will stop us. We need to remember that greater is he who is with us than the enemy.

Whether we live in the valley or on the mountain top, Yahweh is with us. He brings trials and tests to give us endurance so we can live on a higher level. He sends his angels to fight for us. When we really know this truth, we are bold as lions and thankful for tribulations that mature us.

Yahweh, today, we live in freedom, knowing you give us life, love and faith. You have broken the chains of fear. We will not walk in fear because you have given us love, power and a sound mind. Give us vision to see the paper tigers in our lives and free your people from the trauma of fear. Fill us with the awareness of your mighty love and a desire to listen to you.  Amen

Let Your Light Shine!

Rather than curse the darkness let your light shine. The Spirit of God lives inside of us making us bright lights. Light conquers the darkness.

Shine with the love of God.
Shine with joy and praise.
Shine with peace and patience.
Shine with forgiveness.

Shine with goodness and faithfulness.
Shine with believing and trusting God.
Shine with the beauty of Jesus
Shine to light the way for God’s glory!

You are the Light of the World. (Matthew 5:14)

Christmas – God’s Selfless Love

God reaches out to us with selfless love that has no  strings attached. He knows we cannot save ourselves, so he gave of himself, his most precious son. His son, Jesus, took on the limitations of the flesh and was born as an infant in a manger and lived as a man,

Although Jesus was sinless, he laid down his life, took our sins, diseases, curses and punishment, so we could live abundantly, lacking no good thing. Where we lived defeated by sin, depressed, existing in a muddy pit, he took our punishment and lifted us out of the miry clay and set us on the solid rock.  The precious blood of Jesus washes us clean.

Through this sacrifice, the enemy was defeated, and we receive adoption, as the children of Daddy God. We have blessings not curses and spend time with our father, who delights in us. He forgives us, cleans us up, changes our nature, helps us grow and mature. Most amazing, he is giving us as the bride for his son, changing us from the inside out. What absolutely stunning and amazing selfless love! He sees beyond our mess, transforms us and loves us unconditionally.

Celebrate! Marvel at the love of Daddy God. Merry Christmas!

God I Need More Of You

Lord God, I put my trust in you. I seek you with every fiber of my being. My soul is dry and I thirst and long for you. Your presence is the only one that can satisfy me. Your steadfast love and kindness is better than life. Your power, glory and majesty awes me.

I give you all my praise and worship. The fruit of my mouth exalts your holy name. I lift my hands in surrender and worship. With excitement in heart and overflowing joy, I offer you praise, for you are my constant help, strength, sustainer, and refuge.

Trust Yahweh and release control to him. Surrender, your preconceived ideas and let go. Allow him to direct, lead and guide you. Humble yourself, stop resisting, yield to the Lord.

Yahweh will never fail you, trust his love for you.

Dreams Of Fulfillment

Daylight is short in the North, so we have more time to rest and dream. God gives fresh vision as we sleep.

Life is not over and our best times lay ahead. Dreams give a glimpse of our future, sparking light and life deep within us. Your destiny opens before you.

Lord, thank you for speaking to me while I sleep and renewing your vision for my life and destiny. Fresh hope and a new lease on life comes from resting and the dreams you give me. There is new expectation and wonderment, for your plans for my life. I praise you for strengthening and refreshing sleep, as you ignite hope for my future and light the path, on which you lead me.

Peace And Rest

Jesus says: “Are you tired?iu Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:28-30 MSG)

Thank you Jesus, for living inside of me and giving me rest. You walk with me and show me how to live effectively, while relying and resting in you. Lead and guide me today, Lord. I stop my whirlwind of activity, keep my eyes focused on you and rest in your loving care. Thank you for your peace, grace and rest.
