Fear Or Faith In God

Fear or faith develops where we make the biggest investment. When we believe a negative word, fear grabs and pulls us down. Our faith and trust in God must grow bigger than fear.

In the natural, we have tests and due to a failure, think that devastation is our portion. We have to decide if we will exist in the ruins or turn to God and grab hold of him and his promises. One failure does not have to ruin the rest of our lives. The choice is life or death. Live with the fear of lack or choose to trust that God will provide for all of our needs. Fear causes us to become self-absorbed, which ruins relationships and causes us to run from difficulty because the natural circumstances seem difficult.

Remain where God placed you. Rather than thinking, “How can I get out of this?” Choose to think, “What can I learn from this?” Fear robs us of peace but faith and trust in God strengthens us. God gives us new beginnings, is faithful and supernaturally provides for us. Turn to God who is your help and strength and never fails you. Believe, trust and have faith in God not the circumstances. He is your shield and blessing.

Later Yahweh spoke his word to Abram in a vision. He said,
“Abram, don’t be afraid.
I am your shield.
Your reward will be very great.” (Genesis 15:1 NOG)

Daddy God Loves His Wonderful Child

My wonderful child, I love you with an uncontrollable love and I am wild and zany about you. No man can contain my love for you. Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you and made you uniquely special. You are my royal treasure, in whom I delight. You, my precious child, I honor and give my life. My hand of blessing and favor rests on you, as I come before you on bended knee bearing gifts.

It is my greatest joy to spend time with you, my precious child. You bring a sparkle to my eyes and a big smile to my lips. While gazing on you my dearest, you ravish and enthrall my heart. Special dear child, you cause my heart to leap with joy. Songs of delight and love, I sing over you. Snuggle close, and receive my love. Forgiven and much-loved! Receive!

My Heart Is Meek

Lord, my heart is meek before you.
I don’t consider myself better than others.
I’m content to not pursue matters
That are over my head
Such as your complex mysteries and wonders-
That I’m not yet ready to understand.

I am humbled and quieted in your presence.
Like a contented child that rests on its mother’s lap.
I’m your resting child.

Die To Self And Follow Jesus

God calls us to die to ourselves and to live for Christ. Death to our selfishness is not a  popular topic but we are called to die to ourselves daily and take up our cross and follow Jesus. This results in dying to our flesh with its pride, stubbornness, rebellion, passions, lusts and desires.

Seeds have to die and lose their personal identity, to release the power inside. A small acorn when planted in soil, dies and eventually becomes a huge oak tree with many acorns. An apple seed dies to its seed shape and becomes an apple tree filled with hundreds of apples that have many seeds.

Jesus laid down his death and died to that we and untold others would live. When we follow him and die to our flesh, Jesus gets the glory and many come into the kingdom of God. Never despise small beginnings!

“Timeless truth I speak to you: Unless a grain of wheat falls and dies in the ground, it remains alone, but if it dies, it yields much fruit.” (John 12:24 ABPE)

God Delights To Give Good Gifts

God delights to give good gifts to his children, especially when they look to him as their source. The wounded healed and delivered from oppression. God’s love surrounds the fearful and fear departs. There is no need to fear lack for anyone rooted in Christ has living water. These will always bear fruit no matter, if there is a water shortage and it hasn’t rained for years. Their source is the River of Life.

God hears the cries of his children who depend on him. Put your trust in him and he will transform your life!

But blessed is the one who trusts in Me alone;
the Eternal will be his confidence.
He is like a tree planted by water,
sending out its roots beside the stream.
It does not fear the heat or even drought.
Its leaves stay green and its fruit is dependable. (Jeremiah 17:7-8 VOICE)

Yahweh’s Mercy Keeps Us Safe

Yahweh is merciful and does not treat us as we deserve but spares and rescues us from judgment, harm, danger and trouble. His angels rescue and shields us from death, destruction and accidents. Although we might notice, many times preoccupation with our immediate concerns blinds us to the car that narrowly missed hitting us, the disease that passed by, the thwarted thief, and the gun that misfired. The love of Yahweh preserves and rescues with incredible mercy!

Yet I still dare to hope
when I remember this:
The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.
(Lamentations 3:21-23 NLT)

Thank You Lord For Tests

How many times have you cried to God for deliverance from a difficult trial? The pressure seemed endless, relentless and unpleasant. God answers, “I will go with you through your troubles and give you strength to endure the test.”

Maturity comes with bumps in the road, not when there are no challenges. Testings purify and make you stronger. The key to passing the test is total reliance on the Lord and not depending on your brilliance, analysis, flesh or own strength. Leaning on the Lord humbles and rids one of pride and independence.

Thank you Lord for giving me tests and helping me pass them!

Blessed are those who endure when they are tested. When they pass the test, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NOG)

Did you know that your thoughts, define your actions? Your mind needs restoration and a new way of thinking. Meditation on the truth found in God’s word, will transform your thought life from popular cultural mindsets, to God’s way. Life will flow from you, with a new way of thinking. Then you will have greater clarity in hearing God’s voice and pleasing him.

Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete. (Romans 12:2 VOICE)
