Embrace Yourself!

The moment you embrace who you are, celebrate who you are, and simply be who you are, this brings tears to God’s heart. He says, “You are my royal gem, my glory and joy, you are the apple of my eye. When you simply, be who you really are, it brings joy, laughter and great delight to my heart because I delight in you. I took the time to divinely uniquely create you, design you, and anoint you to be you. It grieves the Holy Spirit when you forfeit this, forget how different you are, neglect or loathe yourself, or simply doing for everyone else at the expense of not doing for yourself. I take pleasure in the prosperity of you, my children. I do a little dance, when you get blessed. I smile with favor on you everyday, waiting, hoping, believing that you will ignore the lies of the enemy and forget the toil of the past, and look in the mirror and see the masterpiece I created, you. You are my masterpiece, you are my beloved, and my desires are towards you this day.”

Living Water

My whole being cries and thirsts for you the Living Water
Humbling myself, laying down my pride as a son or daughter
You alone can satisfy my thirsty heart and dry wounded soul
Life, hurts, trauma, drama and sin has taken quite the toll

My arms raise in surrender, relinquishing the past to you, Lord God
Yielding my will, intellect, rights, control, thoughts and fleshly body
In worship, I release all that restrains from closer intimacy with you
My desire, focus, thirst, and heart now set only on you filling my view

In you alone and by your help I put my hope and fully trust
Yahweh’s love surrounds, heals, fills, preserves from soul rust
God, my Rock, encompassing with lively deliverance songs
My praise freely raised in grateful heart worship all day long

God Our Gardener

Spend more time listening than talking. Slow to speak.

God, our gardener, implants the Word in our souls. Life transformation comes, when we receive him, with meekness. It is time to listen and quickly obey his instructions. This produces change with a life that produces God’s fruit.

Post this at all the intersections, dear friends: Lead with your ears, follow up with your tongue, and let anger straggle along in the rear. God’s righteousness doesn’t grow from human anger. So throw all spoiled virtue and cancerous evil in the garbage. In simple humility, let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like. (James 1:19-24 MSG)

God’s In Control

We are called to grow in our relationship with God, relying on his strength, not our own flesh. The challenges that we face, help us become more like Jesus. We lean on God and not our intellect or human understanding. His love enables us to rest and enjoy his peace, regardless of the storm.

Overcoming And Conquering Faith

God is bigger than the circumstances that we find difficult. Choose to step into a place of training, where you take lessons and tests. In the boot camp of God, his grace sustains you through the growth process. You learn to overcome the obstacles and to be more than a conquerer. Faith grows and you develop patience and endurance.

Lord, help me have fun and a sense of humor throughout this process!

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. (James 1:3 NLT)

Trust God

Trust, believe and have confidence, in the reliability and character of God. It is an issue of your heart. Relationship with God, begins with listening and trusting him.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life! (Proverbs 3:5-8 MSG)
