Open Our Eyes To The Risen Christ

by Hazel Straub

Jesus the Christ, the only Son of God is alive! He joined two of his disciples walking from Jerusalem to Emmaus, on Sunday, after his resurrection from the dead. They were discussing what had happened but did not recognize Jesus. He explained from the Bible all the prophecies about him and how he would die for them and be raised again. He then joined them for supper. As Jesus blessed the bread, their eyes of their soul (mind, will and emotions) opened and aroused to understanding. They received revelation of the risen Christ, who alone can forgive our sins and give us eternal life. He can live inside us and change us from the inside out! He is the way, the truth and the life and the way to the Father.

Open our eyes of understanding to the living Christ, Father! Reveal the living Jesus to us!

Joining them at the table for supper, he took bread and blessed it and broke it, then gave it to them. 31 All at once their eyes were opened and they realized it was Jesus! Then suddenly, in a flash, Jesus vanished from before their eyes! (Luke 24:30-31 TPT)

Be Still

by Hazel Straub

Submit to God and acknowledge that he is has sovereign control. Although we can not control life, we can surrender and choose to trust him. He created us and wants the best for us. It is our choice to let him have his way in our lives.

We can know him by listening to him, reading the Bible and having Holy Spirit make it come alive. As we study the Word of God, we learn how he speaks to us in a unique way,  loves us and his character.

Be still (let go and release) and know (recognize, acknowledge and have an intimate relationship) that I am God. I will be exalted (highly valued or glorified) among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10)

Season Of Suddenly

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises (celebrated God in song) unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And SUDDENLY there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: (God has shaken us loose from the foundations of the prisons, we’ve been in) and immediately (instantly—straightway) all the doors (all closures, portals of Heaven) were opened, and every one’s bands (shackle, an impediment or disability, chains) were loosed.”
‭(‭Acts‬ ‭16:25-26‬)

This is a season of Suddenly. Unexpectedly, Divine manifestation. Things are happening quickly, very quickly, for those who have retired from select obedience and delayed obedience, to quick obedience and advance obedience.

Obedient Faith In Yahweh Brings Success

by Hazel Straub

Our battles do not get won by our own strength, cleverness or intelligence but by trusting and obeying Yahweh’s instructions. The nation of Judah had three nations invade their nation. Judah listened and obeyed what the prophet of Yahweh God said. Judah did not come with the normal weapons, but had singers going in front, towards the enemy, praising God. The enemies turned on themselves and killed each other.

Judah prospered and was successful due to their obedient faith in the Word of Yahweh. This is also, true for us today.

They rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat (king of Judah) stood and said, “Listen to me (hear attentively and obey), O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust, faith, belief, and confidence in Yahweh your God and you will be established, like pillars supporting a door. Put your trust, believe, be faithful, stand firm, in His prophets and succeed, prosper, and advance.” (2 Chronicles 20:20)

Yahweh My Strength And Song!

by Hazel Straub

Yahweh, covenant keeping God is always with me. His love and faithfulness, causes me to sing!

Yah is my strength and my song.
He is my savior.
The sound of joyful singing and victory is heard
in the tents of righteous people.
The right hand of Yahweh displays strength.
The right hand of Yahweh is held high.
The right hand of Yahweh displays strength. (Psalm 11814-16 NOG)

Trust The Lord!

by Hazel Straub

Trust, place your confidence in, have faith, know God is true and rely on the Lord. When you trust the Lord, you find refuge in him and are secure, no matter what storms might come. There is no fear of what man might do, because we rest in God.

Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes.
Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure,
feasting on his faithfulness.
Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life,
and he will provide for you what you desire the most.
Give God the right to direct your life,
and as you trust him along the way
you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!
He will appear as your righteousness,
as sure as the dawning of a new day.
He will manifest as your justice,
as sure and strong as the noonday sun.
Quiet your heart in his presence and pray;
keep hope alive as you long for God to come through for you.
And don’t think for a moment that the wicked in their prosperity
are better off than you. (Psalm 37:3-7 TPT)

God’s Grace

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

The Lord said: “You have grace for today and you have grace for tomorrow. Do not dwell on your weaknesses, for my strength and my grace is greater. Rely on my grace, because my grace is my supernatural ability and divine influence.”

Yahweh’s Faithful Love

by Hazel Straub

The faithful lovingkindness of Yahweh surrounds us, all the time. If it was not for his mercies, we would face destruction. He shows us consistent mercy, compassion, covenant love, forgiveness and practical help every day. As believers in Christ, we receive Yahweh’s mercy and extend it to others.

The faithful love of Yahweh never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT)

Sleep Like A Baby

by Hazel Straub

Instead of getting stressed, rest in the Lord. Leave all your worries with him and sleep well. He keeps you safe and secure, so you can enjoy refreshing sleep.

You will sleep like a baby, safe and sound—
your rest will be sweet and secure.
You will not be subject to terror, for it will not terrify you.
Nor will the disrespectful be able to push you aside,
because God is your confidence in times of crisis,
keeping your heart at rest in every situation. (Proverbs 3:24-26 TPT)
