The Faithful Love Of The LORD

by Hazel Straub

The faithful, loyal love of our covenant keeping God never ends and keeps us from destruction. His compassion and mercies never fail. God guarantees he will fulfill everything he has promised. His lovingkindness, compassion and mercy shown us, even his very nature, is fresh and new every morning.

The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT)

Fearfully And Wonderfully Made

by Hazel Straub

God your Creator, gives you your identity. He created you in his image and made you spirit, soul (mind-your thinking process, will and emotions), housed in a body, (Genesis 1:27). He gave you a unique personality and gifts. The precious blood of Jesus the Christ, redeems you from sin and rebellion, when you believe he is the Son of God. God adopted you into his family, so you can call him Daddy. See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. (1 John 3:1)

For You formed my innermost parts;
You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was being formed in secret,
And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were appointed for me,
When as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape].
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
If I could count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You. (Psalm 139:13-18 AMP)

Prayer For You

by Hazel Straub

Today, I am praying this prayer of Apostle Paul over you:

I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].

May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts!

May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, that you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever.

Amen (so be it). (Ephesians 3:14b-21 AMPC)

Fear Not-God Is With Us!

by Hazel Straub

God has given promises to us about our future. He gives us hope and urges us to trust him. He gives us victory over our enemies, physical ones and the strongholds of fear, inadequacy, fear of resources, doubt and unbelief. He promises that he will strengthen us and always be with us. Fear not! God goes before us, accompanies us and is our rear guard!

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you. (Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT)

Let Jesus Shine From Me!

by Hazel Straub

What does Yahweh God require of each one of us? We need Jesus in our hearts, dying to ourselves and allowing Jesus and his character to shine from us. Yahweh wants us to act with justice, to love showing mercy and kindness with others. Also, walking in obedience and agreement, lowering ourselves, as we walk in close communion with him.

Lord, fill us with your love and teach us to love you, others and ourselves. We die to ourselves and humbly walk and listen to you.
Amen

He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8 WEB)

New Identity In Christ

by Hazel Straub

We have a new identity through Christ, who took our sins.

We decree a thing and it is established. Decree out loud: “I am in Christ, a new creation, old things have passed away and I am new.”I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” You will see yourself differently, as you realize who you really are.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV)

The Word Of God Produces Fruit

by Hazel Straub

This is the season of Spring showers. Rain helps life to spring up from the ground and produces crops of food for the hungry. God sends his Word out of his mouth and it also produces an excellent harvest. and satisfies the thirsty and hungry ones.

The rain and snow come down from the heavens
    and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
    producing seed for the farmer
    and bread for the hungry.
 It is the same with my word.
    I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
    and it will prosper everywhere I send it. (Isaiah 55:10-11 NLT)

Yahweh God Directs Our Steps

by Hazel Straub

Yahweh God establishes and guides the person that follows God, step by step throughout life’s journey. He watches over us and holds us by his hand so though we might stumble, we will not stay down because of God’s favor and help in our lives.

The Lord directs the steps of the godly.
He delights in every detail of their lives.
Though they stumble, they will never fall,
for the Lord holds them by the hand. (Psalm 37:23-24 NLT)

Complaining Or Grateful?

by Hazel Straub

Discouraged due to your circumstances? Change the way that you think. Renew your mind by thinking on how much Father God loves you. How he sustains and strengthens you on life’s journey. Express gratitude and thankfulness for his goodness to you.

The children of Israel were miraculously delivered from years of slavery in Egypt and had all their needs provided. They had manna, bread from heaven to eat and water from the rock. Their clothes and shoes did not wear out. God was their cloud cover, shading them from the desert sun by day and as fire by night. Yet their focus changed from their blessings, to ingratitude and complaining. They became impatient with the journey and discouraged, cursing God and Moses for their difficulties. This negativity brought judgment and not joy.

Our attitude determines our outcome. Have a different thought of gratitude and live abundantly.

And they journeyed from Mount Hor by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom, and the people became impatient (depressed, much discouraged), because [of the trials] of the way.
And the people spoke against God and against Moses, Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water, and we loathe this light (contemptible, unsubstantial) manna.Then the Lord sent fiery (burning) serpents among the people; and they bit the people, and many Israelites died. And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that He may take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent [of bronze] and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole, and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent of bronze [attentively, expectantly, with a steady and absorbing gaze], he lived. (Numbers 21:4-9 AMPC) (Jesus said he was the bronze serpent, “He who believes in (has faith in, clings to, relies on) the Son has (now possesses) eternal life.” But whoever does not so believe in, cling to, and rely on the Son “will never see… life.” (John 3:36 AMPC))
